Lisbon woman pleads guilty to drug counts
LISBON – Kathy Talbot, 52, state Route 164, Lisbon, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to eight counts of trafficking in drugs. She faces up to eight and a half years in prison, up to $22,500 in fines and a 40-year license suspension. Talbot was involved in the sale of cocaine on June 6, 2012; June 20, 2012; July 3, 2012; July 17, 2012; July 31, 2012; and March 18, 2013. Additionally, she sold heroin on Jan. 23, 2013 and oxycodone on June 15, 2012. Sentencing is set for July 25.
John M. Simonds, 51, Main Street, Leetonia, pleaded guilty to two counts of OVI for driving on Aug. 15, 2011 after three previous convictions of OVI in the past 20 years. Sentencing was set for Aug. 1.
Chad E. Ratliff, 42, Darner Road, Lisbon, was found eligible for intervention in lieu of conviction and was sentenced to four years intensive probation for a possession of drugs charge. He had cocaine in his possession on May 22, 2013.
Robert J. Ketchum Jr., 26, Olive Street, Salem, was found eligible for intervention in lieu of conviction and was sentenced to four years intensive probation for receiving stolen property for having a truck belonging to John Zoellers on June 15, 2013.
