– Firefighters responded to the 100 block of East Fifth Street after a resident called at 9:19 p.m. Wednesday for a garage on fire. A small trash fire was found next to a garage and was extinguished, with no extension of fire to the garage. The homeowner arrived after the fire was out. The cause of the fire was undetermined and listed as suspicious. Police were also called to the scene and noted that neighbors had been throwing water on the fire and it was almost out.
