LISBON – A 14-year-old East Palestine boy was cited into Columbiana County Juvenile Court for trespassing in the back door of the home of Jerrold Gurney, Wood Street, East Palestine on July 13. Another 13-year-old East Palestine child was cited for allegedly going into Gurney’s home through a basement window on July 13.
A 13-year-old East Palestine boy was cited with throwing rocks at the pool of Willis Reeder, Wood Street, East Palestine, until he punctured it on July 6.
A 14-year-old Leetonia child was cited with allegedly shooting another person with an air gun twice on June 4.
A 14-year-old Rogers girl was cited with being disorderly for allegedly being defiant toward the bus driver on May 1, 8 and 9, as well as using defiant language toward her teachers on May 21.
A 17-year-old Salem child was cited with possessing or consuming alcohol on July 12.
A 16-year-old Columbiana child was cited with violating probation for allegedly using benzodiazepine and testing positive for the substance on May 19.
A 17-year-old resident of the East Palestine School District was cited with violating probation for allegedly being disrespectful to the staff at New Beginnings Residential Treatment Center, causing disturbances at the facility and fleeing on foot on July 18.
A 13-year-old Salineville boy was cited with allegedly picking up his brother and dropping him on the stairs, causing a lump on his head.
LISBON – Three teens allegedly involved in the theft of items from a vehicle in Salem on May 31 were among those cited into Columbiana County Juvenile Court.
A 13-year-old Alliance boy was cited with taking the car keys, a stun gun and coins from vehicle belonging to Belinda Sadler, while two other Salem children, ages 11 and 13, are accused of acting as lookouts. Additionally, the Alliance boy allegedly lied to Salem police, identifying his brother as another person.
A 16-year-old Salem boy is accused of consuming alcohol on June 21 after reportedly testing .144 on a portable breath test.
