SHERIFF

– Christine Hudgens, South 12th Street, Beloit, reported at 10 a.m. Tuesday a woman from Sebring has been working for her at her house between April 17 and June 9 helping to take care of her mother. She has noticed small things missing from her home and asked her about them, but she denied knowing anything. Then Hudgens saw in the newspaper the same woman had been charged with stealing from Walmart. She reports perfume and some chef’s knives taken.

– Susan Cooper, Schneider Road, Hanoverton, reported a property line dispute at 11:41 a.m. Tuesday. Both Cooper and Rachael Craft accused each other of harassment while arguing about the property line. Deputies explained it is a civil matter.

– Charles Hilderbrand, Spillway Road, Lisbon, reported at 3:50 p.m. Monday he is watching a neighbor’s home while he is in the hospital. He noticed on Monday the back door open and two flat screen TVs and a Compaq laptop were missing from the home.
