Salem man charged with importuning, unlawful sexual contact with minor

LISBON – Five secret indictments were served, all charges issued by the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury in August.

Zachary J. Taylor, 20, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, is charged with importuning and three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Taylor allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a child at least 13 years old and less than 16 on July 14. Additionally, Taylor is alleged to have solicited the teen using a telecommunications device.

Raymond Ray Thomas III, 47, Sophia Street, East Liverpool, is charged with pandering in sexually oriented matter involving a minor, pandering in obscenity involving a minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance. Thomas is alleged to have had child pornography in January 2014.

Tani H. Lily, 42, Sophia Street, East Liverpool, was charged with possession of drugs for alleged cocaine on Feb. 21.

Walker Lee Lanham, 20, Lenfield Street, N.E., Alliance, was charged with theft, breaking and entering and safe cracking. Lanham allegedly trespassed into a garage at Brunner Farm Market, U.S. Route 62, Alliance, tampered with a vault or safe there and took 17 handguns belonging to Vince Brunner.

Lindzay J. Beaver, 33, last known address Alton Street, East Liverpool, charged with robbery for attempting to inflict or threatening to inflict physical harm on Chris Young on May 19.
