LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Steven R. Miranda Jr., 20, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $200, placed on two years probation and required 50 hours community service and to attend substance abuse counseling for underage consumption.

Teofil Jan Andrei, 48, Lake Avenue, Salem, fined $100, placed on one year probation, required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

He was also credited with 12 days in jail, fined $250 and sentenced to 33 days in jail for receiving stolen property amended from a felony charge for a stolen plate on his vehicle.

Heather Hairhoger, 32, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, was fined $130 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.

Maura N. Paliani, 25, Chestnut Street, Leetonia, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension and no front plate.

Holly L. Jones, 34, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Angel Long, 31, Sixth Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – Charles A. Vangiesen, 49, Sherman Street, Lisbon, had a felony domestic violence amended to a misdemeanor domestic violence charge in Columbiana County Municipal Court. He was fined $400, credited with seven days served in jail, sentenced to an additional 73 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for both the domestic violence charge and resisting arrest. On Sept. 15, Vangiesen choked and head-butted his wife in front of their children and then pulled away from police attempting to take him into custody.

Gregory C. Duwe, 61, West Main Street, East Palestine, was fined $775, had his license suspended for six months, required to attend a three-day counseling program and required to attend 20 hours community service.

Tammy L. Richards, 45, Winona Road, Hanoverton, was fined $350 and had her license suspended for six months for failure to stop after an accident after she fled the Circle K, West State Street, lot in Salem after backing into someone’s car.

Randy D. Williams, 28, Youngstown, was fined $250, required 50 hours community service, credited with three days in jail and sentenced to an additional 27 days in jail for domestic violence for hitting his live-in girlfriend’s son in the face on April 15.

A Sept. 29 pretrial was set for Shawna D. Reynolds, 39, Aetna Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking her boyfriend Daniel Bente Jr. during an argument and biting his left arm while they were inside a vehicle in Salem on Tuesday.

A Nov. 17 pretrial was set for Andrew S. Brown, 32, West Main Street, Washingtonville, charged with assault for allegedly chest and head butting his landlord, Charles Morrow, on June 21 and then punching and pushing him, causing Morrow to fall to the cement.

David G. Gasior, 43, requested to be allowed to withdraw his previous no contest plea for an assault charge. A court trial was set for Oct. 6. Gasior is accused of assaulting his roommate, Charles A. Sine on March 1.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – A Sept. 29 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Garett L. Bowling II, 23, Wells Hollow Road, Wellsville, charged with breaking and entering, theft and forgery. Bowling is accused of allegedly writing a check to himself for $200 from the stolen checkbook of the Wellsville United Methodist Church on Sept. 3, breaking into the church on Sept. 1 and taking three microphones and a power amp.

Jason D. Moffett, 29, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, was fined $1,050, had his license suspended for a year, required 50 hours community service, credited with nine days served in jail and sentenced to serve and additional six days in jail for OVI second offense, driving under suspension, open container and a registration violation.

Cameron Hurst, 22, Bradshaw Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $500, required to attend a three-day counseling program and had his license suspended for 180 days for physical control.

Don R. Montgomery, 69, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, was sentenced to three days in jail, fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and failure to control.

Samuel R. Landsberger, 28, Taylor Avenue, New Waterford, was fined $655 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension, seat belt, turn signals, traffic control devices, fictitious plates, no license and assured clear distance.

Brian R. Spencer, 48, Maple Street, Washingtonville, was fined $975, had his license suspended for six months, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense and lane violations.

Valerie M. Hill, 40, Alliance, was fined $300 and had her license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession and paraphernalia possession.

Vincent Lee McGary, 36, Warren,was fined $275 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Denise Marie Edmond, 37, state Route 39, Wellsville, was fined $500 and required 60 hours community service for driving under suspension, non compliance suspension and tail lights violation.

Andrew T. Minich, 24, Lake Park Boulevard, Sebring, was fined $250 and credited with a day served for obstructing official business for giving a false name, date of birth and four different social security numbers on Sunday.

Kathryn S. Burr, 51, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court a Sept. 26 preliminary hearing was set for Glenn Libert, 47, North Jefferson Street, Lisbon, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly threatening to kill Casey Huffman, chasing him as he walked away from the Johnny Appleseed Festival.

Aaron N. Francis, 30, Autumn Road, Wellsville, was fined $200, credited with a day served, sentenced to an additional 19 days in jail and required 20 hours community service for domestic violence for pulling Shanna Knoblock off the bed by her hair, grabbing her arm and pulling her to the ground.

Alex M. Cusick, 25, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $350 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Brian G. Henderson, 50, East Eighth Street, Salem, was fined $250 and ordered to pay $51 in restitution for passing bad checks for a check written to the auto title office of the clerk of courts on June 25, which he has not remedied.

Daela M. Austrino, 32, Somer Street, Leetonia, was fined $200, credited with three days in jail and required 60 hours community service for theft for attempting to conceal $33 in merchandise at the Walmart in Salem on Aug. 27.

Richard Sherman, 21, Weirton, W.Va., was fined $230 and had his license suspended for 180 days for a seat belt violation, possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Alice L. Bivens, 39, Water Street, Salineville, was fined $150 with $125 suspended provided she have no similar violations within the next year. Bivens pleaded contest to dumping on private property.

Robert Bidwell, 32, West Main Street, Salineville, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension and peeling tires.

Robert D. Hayden, 21, Steubenville, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of marijuana.

Sheila Johnson, 55, West Washington Street, Lisbon, was fined $100 and required 60 hours community service for theft for taking five gallons of gas from Martha Oliver’s property on Aug. 22 and trying to pour the gas into her 1971 Chevy, spilling it.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – During action Friday in Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was scheduled for Sept. 22 in the case of Anthony M. Gregory, 29, Plymouth Place, Salem, who was charged by Salem police with OVI, resisting arrest and failing to comply with a police order to halt. The incident resulting in his arrest occurred on Thursday.

In other court action, David G. Gasior, 43, West Fifth Street, Salem, was found guilty of assaulting Charles Sine on March 22 and is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 22.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 22 in the case of Dustin R. Morrow, 31, Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road, Calcutta, who is charged with receiving stolen property – a stolen license plate – and driving without a license.

A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Richard R. Vecchio, 54, state Route 164, Lisbon, who is charged with public intoxication and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Robert D. Hayden, 21, of Steubenville, was fined $100 after being found guilty of marijuana possession.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Allen S. Austin, 30, Youngstown, and Henry L. Robinson, 24, Vine Avenue, Salem, were bound over to the grand jury on receiving stolen property charges. Austin was allegedly driving a vehicle owned by Joseph P. Bleade and reported stolen on Sept. 9, while Robinson was the passenger.

An Oct. 20 pretrial was set for Ronald P. Stinespring, 45, Cadiz, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly brandishing a firearm at Pamela Edwards, pointing it a handgun at her and cocking it with his left hand. Prior to the incident with the gun, Edwards reportedly questioned Stinespring about dumping trash on Lusk Lock Road and he told a child in the vehicle to grab his gun.

Michael L. McElroy, 40, West State Street, Salem, pleaded no contest to resisting arrest and obstructing official business. During a traffic stop for running a stop sign, going left of center and disobeying a traffic light on his bicycle, McElroy became uncooperative, threw his bike and shouted several statements, such as “I’ll make you shoot me. I’ll make you be on CNN and don’t try to arrest me. You need to go harass someone else. There are meth labs you should be handling.” Sentencing is set for Oct. 25.

A Sept. 22 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Charles A. Vangiesen, 49, Sherman Street, Lisbon, charged with a felony domestic violence and with resisting arrest for allegedly pulling away from Lisbon police on Thursday. The domestic violence alleges he choked and head butted his wife, Tracey Vangiesen, in front of their children.

Frankie L. Bouch, 25, Steubenville, was fined $705, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and ordered to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and turn signal violation.

A Sept. 22 pretrial was set for David W. Palmer, 30, Carrollton, cited with driving under a 12-point suspension, hit skip and assured clear distance.

A Sept. 26 pretrial was set for Jared P. White, 31, New Castle, Pa., charged with menacing for allegedly threatening to harm Steven Ziser on Sept. 12.

Kasey L. Helisek, 23, East Main Street, East Palestine, pleaded guilty to criminal damaging for breaking the window and frame out of the window in the holding cell, injuring himself by punching the window and breaking it and injuring his knuckles on Tuesday. Sentencing is set for Sept. 19.

David G. Gasior, 43, last known address West Fifth Street, Salem, pleaded no contest to assault for injuring Charles A. Sine on March 2. Sentencing was set for Sept. 22.

A Sept. 26 pretrial was set for Maribeth F. Graham, 33, Continental Drive, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly taking three or four beers from the Beer Cave at Speedway in Salem, placing them into her purse and leaving the store on Tuesday.

An Oct. 18 pretrial was set for Daniel E. Pumphrey Jr., 38, Waterford Road, East Palestine, cited with criminal damaging for allegedly taking an HDMI cable from Bridget Coburn’s TV, breaking it.

An Oct. 24 pretrial was set for Brandon S. White, 38, Waddell Street, Leetonia, cited with driving under suspension.

An Oct. 27 pretrial was set for Thomas C. Cochrane, 47, Upper Arlington, cited with OVI second offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years and left of center.

A Nov. 3 pretrial was set for Bennie Shetler, 25, Canton, Pa., cited with OVI first offense and left of center.

Wanda L. Johnson, 39, Charleton Drive, Lisbon, was fined $280 for no license and speeding.

Brian A. Strauss, 43, Tiltonsville, was fined $280 for speeding and driving under suspension.

Tyler P. Robinson, 25, North Canton, was fined $180 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of drugs, possession of instruments to ingest or inhale controlled substance and speeding.

Seaton I. Ruffner, 33, Union Ridge Road, Negley, was credited with two days in jail, fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct after he was found on the ground, then got up and stumbled greatly while he smelled of an alcoholic beverage.

Scott M. Klee, 50, Neffs, was fined $180 for use of an unauthorized plate and improper backing.

Remus P. Bleahu, 40, Poland, was fined $150 for speeding.

Dean R. Bolster, 36, Austinburg, was fined $50 for public intoxication. An Oct. 24 pretrial was set for Bolster for a theft charge. He is accused of taking three containers of 5 Hour Energy drinks from the BP Service Station on Wednesday.

A charge of failure to return and pay taxes in Salem was dismissed against Carl D. Cranston, Calla Road, Beloit.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Lisa M. Smith, 49, Hummelstown, Pa., was credited with a day served in jail, fined $250 and required 75 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Smith was found with a .38 special revolver in the middle console of her vehicle with ammo beside the steering wheel during a random search of vehicles in the parking lot of the Elkton Federal Correction Institute on May 27.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Anthony R. Sevek, 27, Jefferson Street, Salineville, was fined $450, credited with 21 days served in jail and sentenced to an additional 159 days in jail for endangering children and possession of drug abuse instruments. Sevek was found unresponsive on March 29 on the floor of the bathroom with a spoon and needle next to his body within several feet of his two small daughters, ages 4 and 2.

Kelly J. Duncan, Independence Square, Wellsville, was fined $150 and sentenced to three days in jail for endangering children. Duncan’s naked child was on 17th and 18th Streets on May 23 and was nearly struck by a vehicle.

Kristina M. Mattern, 33, Wood Street, Salineville, was fined $1,085, credited with five days served in jail, sentenced to an additional 30 days, required 50 hours community service and had her license suspended for a year for OVI first offense, driving under suspension, seat belt, failure to control and endangering children for having a 2-year-old child in her vehicle when she crashed in January.

Larry D. Seitz, 45, Akron, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense.

Antoine T. Johnson, 33, Warren, was fined $675 and sentenced to 10 days in jail for OVI first offense. Citations of driving under FRA suspension and speeding were dismissed.

Jarred M. Knepper, 33, Benton Road, Salem, pleaded no contest to driving under suspension. A sentencing hearing was set for Oct. 18.

Cody W. Farnsworth, 29, Cedar Ridge Drive, Salem, was fined $250, required 40 hours community service and sentenced to five days in jail for falsification. Farnsworth told police on May 19 he was involved in a domestic fight with the mother of his children, but later recanted the story.

Nicholas Gondo, 22, North Broadway, Salem, was fined $250, credited with two days served in jail and required 20 hours community service for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for dragging his girlfriend, Autumn Cope up the steps to their apartment and throwing her around their bedroom on July 13.

Joshua R. Andrews, 26, North Walnut Street, East Palestine, was fined $750, had his license suspended for 180 days, credited with 14 days in jail and sentenced to an additional 46 days for hit skip, criminal damaging for driving over a bank into a yard and domestic violence for grabbing April Nail on Aug. 4 and their son, while Nail was attempting to flee the house.

Roy O. Moffett III, 20, Union Ridge Road, Negley, was fined $340 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension, lane violations, windshield violation and a seat belt violation.

Elizabeth A. Schneider, 51, Wood Street, Wellsville, was fined $280 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Miles A. Ketchum, 29, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $250 and sentenced to 60 days in jail with work release for possession of criminal tools for a device he was using to hold urine when he went to the municipal court for a drug test on May 25.

Mark D. Hawkins, 49, Homewood Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.

Nagesh Juluru, 35, Bethel Park, Pa., was fined $150 for lighted lights amended from speeding.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – Angel A. Vargas, 49, of Youngstown, pleaded not guilty to OVI charges Friday in Columbiana County Municipal Court.

Vargas was cited by the Ohio Highway Patrol after he went off the road on state Route 154 in Middleton Township at 11:10 p.m. Sept. 3. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Oct. 27.

David Neal, 64, West 13th Street, Salem, was fined $30 after being found guilty of failure to control, which was reduced from leaving the scene of an accident. The accident occurred in Salem on Aug. 26.

Roy Bates, 28, U.S. Route 30, Lisbon, pleaded innocent to domestic violence charges, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for Monday. Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bates after he reportedly shoved his pregnant girlfriend Deserie Ohlinger, hurting her back during a domestic dispute at their residence on Thursday.

Tracy Ketchum, 49, North Market Street, Lisbon, pleaded innocent to assault charges, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for Monday. Lisbon police arrested Ketchum after she reportedly struck Christopher Batton in the face on Tuesday.

Jessica D. Reynolds, 25, Macrum Street, East Liverpool, pleaded innocent to OVI, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for Oct. 27. Reynolds was cited by Wellsville police at 2:27 a.m. Sunday.

Joan L. Hutchison, 57, of Minerva, pleaded innocent to OVI, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for Oct. 31. Hutchison was cited by Salem police at 6:28 p.m. Sept. 2.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 15 in the case of Henry L. Robinson, 24, Vine Street, Salem, who was charged by Salem police with receiving stolen property. Robinson was found driving a Dodge Durango reportedly stolen Thursday from Joseph P. Bleade, who said Robinson did not have his permission to take the SUV. The Durango was originally reported stolen by Shannon L. Cadle.

Jared W. Rohm, 21, Sherman Street, Lisbon, pleaded innocent to passing a school bus, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for Nov. 3. Lisbon police cited Rohm after he reportedly passed a stopped bus in the village at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 2.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, an Oct. 24 pretrial was set for Lawrence W. Stacey II, 55, Firestone Avenue, Columbiana, a local attorney charged with criminal trespassing following his alleged behavior at a high school football game on Friday. According to court documents, Stacey and a friend were found on Crestview school grounds in a vehicle with open containers of alcoholic beverages and asked to leave on Friday. Deputies shortly after reportedly found Stacey, wearing different clothes to disguise himself attempting to get into the game through the back gate where the band comes into the stadium.

A Sept. 12 preliminary hearing was set for Raymond J. Nicastro, 47, Boardman, charged with OVI fourth offense, failure to control, open container and improper/expired registration.

A felony burglary charge against Jonathan M. Collins, 25, Massillon, was amended to aggravated trespassing. He pleaded no contest to both aggravated trespassing and criminal damaging and was fined $350, required 40 hours community service and credited with seven days served in jail. Collins had been inside the home of Amanda Vrabec without permission on Feb. 16 while she and Dylan Tiller slept. Collins poured beer on Tiller, threw a bottle against the wall and a TV onto the floor. A restitution hearing was set for Dec. 1.

Jeremy R. Gontas, 29, Washington, Pa., was fined $725, credited with four days served, sentenced to an additional two days, had his license suspended for 12 months and required 40 hours community service for OVI first offense and lane violations.

Roger C. Mullett, 28, West Wilson Street, Salem, was fined $150 and credited with 12 days served with 18 days remaining for assault. Mullet struck Candace Clarkson on Aug. 25, leaving a swollen red lump on her cheek bone and the area of her left eye, along with a chipped tooth.

Amy D. Heald, 34, North 14th Street, Sebring, was fined $250 and required 20 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.

William L. Arnold, 51, Mahoning Avenue, Alliance, was fined $150 and required 10 hours community service for use of an unauthorized plate and assured clear distance.

Emily Smith, 34, Lisbon Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and required 10 hours community service for wrongful entrustment.

Michael David Bruce, 20, state Route 45, Wellsville, was fined $200 and required 20 hours community service for criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct after he was found passed out behind the wheel of his 1992 Ford truck, then became belligerent and uncooperative with deputies on Sept. 4.

Blake C. Benedict, 22, Follansbee, W.Va., was fined $300 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Heather M. Sundo, 42, Wampum, Pa., was fined $200, had her license suspended for six months and required 30 hours community service for possession of marijuana and possession of instruments to ingest/inhale controlled substance.

William K. Hebron, 23, Macklin Road, New Waterford, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jeffrey B. Patchin, 49, Warren, was fined $100, credited with a day served in jail and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

Decarlo D. Jackson, 23, homeless, Cleveland, was fined $100, required 40 hours community service, credited with 17 days served and sentenced to an additional three days for falsification for telling members of the Columbiana County Drug Task Force he did not know his social security number, giving them a false name and false date of birth.

A robbery charge against Jordan L. Gainer, 28, last known address Morton Street, East Liverpool, was dismissed so it can be submitted directly to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury. Gainer is already incarcerated for 12 months, sentenced last week on charges of possession of drugs with two forfeiture specifications. In the latest robbery case, Gainer is accused of punching Robert Shirey in the face, knocking him to the ground and continuing to assault him while a co-defendant took money from his left pocket and then Gainer stole Shirey’s shotgun.

Joseph L. Brandon Jr., 38, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $200, required 30 hours community service, credited with five days served in jail and sentenced to an additional 85 days for two counts of violating a temporary protection order for contacting Amy Purdue multiple times on Aug. 24 and 25.

Curtis L. Bell, 45, Canton, Mich., was fined $30 for speeding. An Oct. 13 pretrial was set for a possession of marijuana citation.

A Sept. 12 pretrial was set for Scott D. Armstrong, 48, Kirk Road, Columbiana, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pushing his 14-year-old son against the wall, pushing him into some boxes and causing him to fall over them.

A Sept. 19 pretrial was set for William T. Goebeler, 55, and Dawn R. Goebeler, 45, state Route 172, Minerva, charged with prohibitions concerning companion animals for allegedly leaving a dog in 90 degree weather without shade or shelter, giving birth in unsanitary conditions where she could not reach her puppies or have access to food or water on Aug. 15. Five other dogs reportedly were found together in a small shelter with green contaminated water.

Perrenoud, 30, state Route 170, Rogers, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a receiving stolen property charge. Perrenoud is accused of allegedly pawning in May a stolen Snap-on Ethos Analyzer, which is valued at $1,500.

A Sept. 15 pretrial was set for David L. Todd, 44, West Lincolnway, Lisbon, charged with assault for allegedly punching his girlfriend Amber Posage in the face on Thursday.

A Sept. 26 pretrial was set for Jacqueline N. Weingart, 32, Youngstown, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly giving police in Salem a false name multiple times on Thursday.

An Oct. 6 pretrial was set for Slade Brandle, 56, Boston Street, Washingtonville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly throwing pop at Emma Byers, grabbing her by the back of the head and slamming her into the dashboard twice and threatening to kill her numerous times on Aug. 22.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for Brian D. Digman, 25, East Third Street, Salem, charged with criminal damaging for allegedly kicking a bathrom door at an East Third Street, Salem, home on Friday.

An Oct. 18 pretrial was set for Robert J. Handle, 55, West State Street, Salem, cited with failure to file an income tax return and two counts of failure to file or pay taxes for employees in Salem. Handle allegedly did not file the business’ corporate income taxes in 2013, 2014 or 2015 or any year since 2002. Additionally he has not filed or remitted the taxes withheld from the employes of BH Tire for tax years 2013 and 2016.

Joseph L. Brandon Jr., 38, state Route 45, Lisbon, pleaded no contest to two counts of violating a temporary protection order for calling and texting Amy Perdue repeatedly on Aug. 24 and 25. Sentencing was set for Sept. 6.

Jack D. Dillow, 31, Clayburn Place, East Liverpool, was fined $925, had his license suspended for six months, ordered to attend a three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and driving under suspension.

Aaron J. Thomas, 38, John Street, Salineville, was fined $200, credited with five days in jail and required 30 hours community service. Thomas threw his drink in live-in girlfriend’s Sharlene Thomas’ face, pushed her about the hallway which knocked pictures off the wall, tried to get back inside the house by coming through a window and trying to pull Thomas out through the window.

Staci Michelle Shaw, 29, Riley Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 10 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.

Jerry D. Lewis, 58, Church Street, Salineville, was fined $250 for failure to reinstate a license. A defective exhaust citation was suspended.

Michael F. McPhillen, 41, Midvale, was fined $50, required 30 hours community service, credited with four days in jail and sentenced to an additional six days for domestic violence for threatening to kill his live in girlfriend Brandy Lee on Sunday.

Joseph Thomas Moore, 20, Winona Road, Salem, was fined $150 and required 10 hours community service for use of an unauthorized plate.

Amber N. Jones, 36, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $150, credited with 12 days in jail and sentenced to 18 additional days for permitting drug abuse for allowing others to inject heroin at her home on Aug. 19.

Jerrell R. Jeter, 31, Baum Street, East Liverpool, was fined $280, required 40 hours community service and credited with five days served in jail for driving under suspension and speeding.

Leroy Calvin McEldowney, 37, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 10 hours of community service for driving under FRA suspension.

A Sept. 12 pretrial was set for Robert J. Mohr, 57, Franklin Avenue, Salem, cited with driving under suspension.

An Oct. 6 pretrial was set for Trudi L. Holloway, 46, state Route 517, Lisbon, cited with driving under OVI suspension.

Paul R. Faulkner, 21, Hoopes Road, Salem, pleaded no contest to hit skip, failure to control and a seat belt violation. Sentencing was set for Oct. 6.

An Oct. 18 pretrial was set for Phillip E. Steele, 56, Highland Drive, East Liverpool, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.

An Oct. 27 pretrial was set for Steven D. Kirkpatrick, 33, Pike Street, Alliance, cited with driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.

An Oct. 27 pretrial was set for Scott A. Bailey Jr., 27, North Middleton Road, North Lima, cited with driving under suspension.

A Nov. 7 pretrial was set for Jacob Arsuffi, 22, North Lima, cited with OVI first offense, OVI controlled substance, speeding and failure to control.

A citation for violating a temporary protection order against Kevin D. Secka, 43, state Route 154, Lisbon, was dismissed. Michelle Secka reportedly had a protection order against him when they were together in the same house in January. Kevin Secka was credited with a day served in jail, fined $250 and required 20 hours community service for domestic violence for striking his 3-year-old son on the face in December.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON -In Columbiana County Municipal Court a Sept. 12 pretrial was set for Sherrie J. Moore, 52, North Market Street, Lisbon,charged with two counts of theft. One charge is for allegedly taking Paul’s Cab to her home on Aug. 23, telling the driver, Rodney Harsh, he would be paid the $40 when she arrived and then going inside locking the door behind her. The other was for allegedly pulling the same scheme on driver Wendy Alexander on July 30, failing to pay her $60.

A Sept. 12 pretrial was set for Joshua R. Andrews, 25, North Walnut Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly harming April Nail on Aug. 4 by entering through a back door of her home, grabbing her by the arm trying to pull her back into the home while she was attempting to escape out the front door with her sons, grabbing their son while threatening to take him from her and sending her several derogatory names by text messages. Andrews is also charged with criminal damaging and hit skip for allegedly speeding in reverse toward Earl Sheets on May 8, wrecking over a bank and causing damage to the yard.

A Sept. 29 pretrial was set for Lisa A. Keener, 44, state Route 170, East Liverpool, charged with three counts of theft. One for allegedly taking cigarettes and chewing tobacco from the Valley View on July 22 totaling $278. Another for allegedly taking $266 worth of cigarettes and chewing tobacco from the Lisbon Circle K on the same date. The third charge was for shoplifting $245 in merchandise from Campbell’s Grocery, state Route 45, Lisbon, on July 18.

Shad R. Clever, 39, South Union Avenue, Salem, pleaded no contest to possession of tramadol for pills in his vehicle on June 8. Sentencing was set for Sept. 6.

Carmen M. Bratt, 59, Justison Road, East Palestine, was fined $250, required 50 hours community service and sentenced to two days in jail for driving under suspension.

Finley L. Croyle, 29, Benton Road, Salem, was fined $280 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.

Paige Macklin, 22, state Route 46, New Waterford, was fined $250 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Nicholas D. Faulkner, 21, Ohio Avenue, Salem, was fined $200 and required 20 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.

Luciana B. Costantino, 38, Allison Park, Pa., was fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from speeding.

Larry A. Macklin Jr., 35, Waddell Street, Leetonia, was fined $100 for driving under suspension amended from driving in violation of a driving restriction.

A Sept. 22 pretrial was set for Margarita Pascual Pedro, 32, Columbia Street, Salem, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

An Oct. 4 pretrial was set for James B. Rouzzo, 39, Struthers, charged with OVI second offense and lane violations.

An Oct. 24 pretrial was set for Samuel J. Bister, 35, West Pershing Street, Salem, cited with driving without a temporary permit.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Keisha D. Pearson, 26, South Lincoln, Lisbon, was bound over to grand jury on a robbery charge. Bond is set at $100,000 cash or surety. Pearson allegedly grabbed between $400 and $500 from the pocket of Robert Shirey on Y and O Road, Wellsville, after Jordan Gainer allegedly hit Shirey and held him down on Aug. 14.

Michael Hipsley, 23, state Route 39, Salineville, was fined $280 for driving under FRA suspension and tail lights violation.

Jeremy R. Gontas, 29, Washington, Pa., pleaded guilty to OVI first offense and lane violations. A sentencing hearing was set for Sept. 6.

A Sept. 19 pretrial was set for Daela M. Austrino, 32, Somer Street, Leetonia, charged with theft for allegedly shoplifting $33 at the Salem Walmart on Saturday.
