MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON — An Oct. 27 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Samuel F. Masters Jr., 40, Dresden Avenue,  East Liverpool, charged with failure to provide notice of residence address change. Masters is required to alert authorities 20 days before he moves. On Oct. 20 deputies allegedly went to his previous registered address on Waterloo Street, East Liverpool, and found in empty with no bathroom nor kitchen and the roof leaking in every room.

Mark Charles Trombitas, 53, Poland, was fined $500, had his license suspended for a year and sentenced to 90 days in jail for physical control.

Emily J. Garman, 22, East Seventh Street, Salem, was tried before the court on an assault charge, found guilty, fined $100, credited with 35 days served in jail and sentenced to an additional 55 days concurrent with time Garman is already serving in a felony case at the Eastern Ohio Corrections Center. Garman struck her mother, Melissa Reed, in the head with a car seat on Sept. 13.

David Trimble, 50, Lisbon Street, Hanoverton, was credited with a day in jail and fined $250 for having weapons while intoxicated. Trimble had fired a 12-gauge shotgun on a Winona Road property in Salem Township on July 17. An obstructing official business charge for reportedly lying to deputies about his actions was dismissed.

Brandi L. Cope, 23, state Route 45, Lisbon, was credited with 11 days in jail, sentenced to an additional 19 days in jail, fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for theft for shoplifting a package of Sour Patch Kids candy from Smith Oil in Lisbon on Jan. 31.

Jeffery Reese, 48, East Main Street, Leetonia, was fined $100 and credited with two days served in jail for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for yelling, screaming and threatening Patty Reese on Oct. 12.

A Nov. 21 pretrial was set for Michael S. Fowler, 45, charged with assault for allegedly punching, shoving and tackling Jerry Jackson to the ground on Thursday.

A Dec. 8 pretrial was set for Chad E. Brewer, 34, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, charged with assault for allegedly punching Steven Malone in the face on Oct. 15.

A Dec. 13 pretrial was set for Joshua L. Mango, 21, Niles, cited with possession of marijuana and a tail lights violation.

Shantelle Uselton, 28, Dairy Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and required 10 hours of community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Patrick R. Cusick, 53, Pittsburgh, Pa., was fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from traffic control devices.

Ella Dawn Lewis, 26, Girard, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Maranon Oivelsis, 40, Hialeah, Fla., was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.

Patrick Kuhlman, 39, Esterly Drive, Leetonia, was fined $130 and required 25 hours community service for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and failure to control.

Christina L. Minger, 35, New Garden Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Shelby M. Paparodis, 20, Lake Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 for speeding, a booster seat violation and a child restraint device violation.

A Nov. 7 court trial was set for Shawn Lee Preston, 34, Canton, cited with no license and speeding.

A Dec. 5 pretrial was set for Tricia L. Willis, 23, Willow Drive, Wellsville, cited with driving under a 12-point suspension and a stop sign violation.

A Dec. 20 pretrial was set for Nicole M. Russell, 33, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense and improper backing.
