SHERIFF’S OFFICE

— A Beaver Local student asked deputies to check with his mother, Connie Laughlin, at 7:24 a.m. Thursday after he had an argument with her earlier in the morning and she passed out briefly. She was awake when he left for school, but then he became worried about her. Deputies went to the home on state Route 7, Rogers, where she assured them she was fine and she had passed out in the past.

— Deputies were dispatched to a home on Dyke Road, Negley, where Negley EMS were administering treatment to Ravyn Householder, 18, who may have been suffering from an opioid overdose. EMS administered naloxone and he was responding. Deputies spoke to Patrick Beam, who identified Householder as his baby’s mother’s son. Householder came to the house at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, but Beam could not awaken him this morning and he was having problems breathing. The teen has reportedly been known to smoke marijuana and snort crushed pills in the past, but deputies did not find any sign of drug abuse at the scene.
