Highway Patrol

— Both Kasie D. Wilkes, 42, Barr Road, Minerva, and Erik K. Sweet, 30, Harvey Avenue, Lisbon, were northbound on state Route 9 in Butler Township Friday when Sweet began to slow for a left turn and Wilkes’ vehicle struck the rear of Sweet’s vehicle. Sweet and his passenger, Toni A. Donnelly, 46, Winona Road, Salem, were transported to SRMC by EMT Ambulance. WIlkes was cited for assured clear distance. She and her 17-year-old passenger were not injured.

— Timothy R. Minter, 33, Scroggs Road, Lisbon, was southbound on Black Road March 17 when he drove off the right side, striking a ditch and mailbox. Minter was cited for failure to control.

— Andre M. Sloan, 17, Danbury Avenue, Wellsville, was northbound on state Route 39 Saturday, traveling around a curve when he went off the right side of the roadway, striking a fence owned by Gary T. Jett. About 100 feet of fence with wooden and steel posts were damaged. Sloan was cited for failure to control. Neither he nor his 15-year-old passenger were injured.
