MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON — A March 30 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Timothy H. Lewis, 61, East Main Street, Salineville, charged with attempt. Lewis was allegedly rattling the door of the home of Dusty Haught on Tuesday, attempting to gain entrance to find his medication. Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Amber N. Jones, 37, 16 School Road, Wellsville, was fined $1,250, had her license suspended for two years and sentenced to a year in jail for OVI third offense and driving under suspension.

Joshua Allen Burke, 26, Boardman, was fined $1,025, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and required to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and driving under suspension.

Domingo V. Calel, 31, Columbia Street, Salem, was fined $755, had his license suspended for 180 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense, no license and left of center.

Carly M. Williams, 20, Columbiana Road, Columbiana, was fined $400, required 30 hours community service, credited with a day served and sentenced to another day in jail for falsification and two counts of theft. The theft charges were for selling a stolen pink Radio Flyer four-in-one trike to Once Upon a Child in Boardman, as well as attempting to sell a stolen princess bike with doll carrier. Williams further claimed her daughter’s bicycle was stolen as well.

Cory M. Haueter, 30, Richey School Road, Hanoverton, was fined $250 and required 20 hours community service for failure to control.

Kasen J. Smith, 21, King Road, Salem, was fined $150 for possession of marijuana and possession of instruments to ingest/inhale controlled substances for a pipe with a Mountain Dew bottle attached.

Richard R. McLemore, 43, state Route 165, East Palestine, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from disregard for safety on private property.

Nicholas J. Conway, East North Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $150 for open container.

Douglass E. Moffett, 46, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Thomas R. Welsh, 48, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from failure to yield the right of way.

Ashley Baddely, 31, West Wilson Street, Salem, was fined $180 for driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.

William Italo Petiella, 26, Vienna, was fined $130 for driving under suspension and speeding.

An April 13 pretrial was set for Trisha E. Jones, 39, Allen Road, Salem, cited with OVI first offense, lane violations and seat belt violation.

An April 27 pretrial was set for Ryan L. Butler, 31, Desellem Road, Lisbon, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly sending a threatening text message to Trudy Falcone regarding herself and her family.

An April 25 pretrial was set for Steven R. Barnes, 35, Maple Street, Washingtonville, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

A March 27 pretrial was set for Russell T. Flick, 47, state Route 45, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense.

A May 11 pretrial was set for Francis D. Cain, 33, Valley Road, Salem, cited with possession of marijuana and driving under suspension.

A May 16 pretrial was set for Zachary S. Daniels, 24, Youngstown, cited with driving under a 12-point suspension.

A May 22 pretrial was set for Michelle Lynn Hall, 40, West Washington Street, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension and tail lights.

James Belloto, 51, North Lima, was found incompetent and the case was dismissed. Belloto was charged with two counts of criminal trespassing. One was for allegedly being confrontational with a dispatcher at the county sheriff’s office on July 25 after being dissatisfied with what he was told and then refusing to leave the premises. The other was for being on the front porch of a Columbiana home on July 18 after being warned not to be there.

A charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle against Matthew Garth Snyder, 37, South Union Avenue, Alliance, was dismissed. Snyder reportedly was the driver of a vehicle reported unconscious on county road 403 on March 11, who took off running when the Knox Township fire department arrived.

Martina Calel, 35, Maple Street, Salem, was fined $50 for no license. A left of center citation was dismissed due to the charge being improperly filed.
