— Police responded to the 2500 block of E. State Street at 2:54 p.m. Friday where the complainant advised a male subject has been harassing him at work. An officer spoke with the other person and advised them to cease their actions.
— Police responded to the 800 block of E. 5th Street at 1:23 a.m. Sunday for an intoxicated and disorderly man who could be heard in the backyard using profanity toward a neighbor. He was upset over comments supposedly made about him by a woman at the next door residence. He was advised to ignore that and keep the noise down.
— Police responded to the 1200 block of E. 6th Street at 1:10 a.m. Sunday where the complainant said their cell phone was stolen at the high school homecoming dance. The phone was tracked to an address in the 1200 block of Southeast Boulevard and contact was made with a female juvenile who had possession of it. It was recovered and charges for receiving stolen goods are pending an investigation.
— Police responded to the 800 block of E. 5th Street at 12:50 a.m. Sunday for a loud person report but didn’t hear anything in the area. Police spoke with a person in the area about the complaint.
— At 12:12 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 500 block of N. Lincoln Avenue regarding a loud music complaint and advised the residents to turn it down.
— At 11:09 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 500 block of E. 4th Street regarding a report of an occupied vehicle sitting there for several hours. The occupants said they were only there for a half hour. They were checked for warrants and the officer cleared the scene.
— At 11 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 400 block of Aetna Street where the complainant advised her son admitted to using meth earlier and was acting paranoid and sitting with a ball bat in the living room. Upon arrival he didn’t have the ball bat and appeared to be fine.
— Police responded to the 400 block of W. Pershing Street at 10:13 p.m. and checked for a wanted person and were advised the person no longer lived there.
— Police responded to the 400 block of Continental Drive at 9:47 p.m. where the complainant advised her sister and nephew were possibly involved in a domestic dispute and she was unable to contact her. Police made contact with her and she advised she and her son argued earlier after he consumed alcohol. Things were OK and he was sleeping.
— Police responded to the 2800 block of E. State Street at 9:16 p.m. Saturday where a female juvenile from Lisbon was detained for shoplifting $79.84 in merchandise. She was charged with delinquency and released to her father. Her case will be turned over to the juvenile department.
— At 8:41 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 2800 block of E. State Street where a male subject who had been previously asked not to return but had been there. He left in a full-sized black van and the employee was advised to call the police if he returned.
— Police responded to the 200 block of Vine Avenue at 7:18 p.m. Saturday for a report of loud music and observed several people on the back porch and advised them to keep it down.
— At 7:08 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 900 block of N. Ellsworth Avenue where the complainant returned from the Broadway Avenue Plaza and observed his vehicle had been struck. There was minor damage to the left side front bumper and headlight. Photos were taken and a report number was issued.
— At 6:31 p.m. Saturday, a complainant was on station to report her boyfriend missing. An officer explained he stopped in the department yesterday to advise in case anyone made a missing person report that he was not missing and was OK. She advised that she and the ex-boyfriend signed a contract with Aaron’s rental for a 55-inch television that he took and had not made a payment on. She was advised that was a civil matter.
— At 12:45 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 2800 block of E. State Street where a female complainant advised of having three tires slashed while parked in the lot there. The incident is under investigation.
— Police responded to the 300 block of S. Ellsworth Avenue at 10:46 p.m. Saturday to assist Perry Township police with a traffic stop. The driver was observed operating in a reckless manner and was given a verbal warning for a stop sign violation.
— Police learned a man was possibly on West Friend Street and contemplating suicide at 1:39 a.m. Saturday. Police searched the area but did not find the man. It was later learned Boardman police talked to the man and was able to convince to go to a hospital to be evaluated.
— Jill M. Stalnaker, 37, of Columbiana, was cited for OVI following a traffic stop on East Park Avenue at 12:24 a.m. Saturday.
— Mary A. Surgenavic, 34, reported at 10:39 p.m. Saturday a window in her motor vehicle was broken while parked on North Main Street.
— Tiffany A. Sullivan of Hanoverton was cited for driving without a license and given a warning for speeding follow a traffic stop on Salem Street at 8:34 a.m. Friday.
— City workers digging along a drainage ditch behind the Terra Verde properties reported Friday finding an item in the woods used to smoke marijuana.
