LISBON — An Oct. 26 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for an East Liverpool man accused of assaulting a county jail corrections officer on Wednesday. Dillon T. Dellapenna, 20, Moore Street, East Liverpool, charged with harassment by an inmate for allegedly biting a corrections officer,Tyler Rhodes, breaking the skin and causing him to seek medical treatment at the hospital on Wednesday. Additionally, Dellapenna allegedly spit on several other officers and nursing staff at the jail.
A Nov. 2 pretrial was set for Samantha L. Crawford, 30, West Main Street, Salineville, charged with assault and resisting arrest for allegedly striking James Spencer in the parking lot of the Dollar General in Salineville, where they had met to discuss their relationship. Crawford is accused of hitting Spencer in the face and ribs, biting his finger and grabbing his car window and pushing it down to get to him. Additionally, when she was arrested at her home, Crawford allegedly refused to put her hands behind her back, refused to walk to the cruiser, jerked away violently and spit on Cpl. Kenneth McLaughlin.
Trent A. Marcum, 21, North Madison Avenue, Salem, fined $550, credited with five days in jail, sentenced to another 10 days in jail, required 20 hours community service and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana, no license, no registration and receiving stolen property for having a tablet stolen from Carley Echman.
Jonathan F. Butts, 40, West Pershing Street, Salem, was fined $150, had his license suspended for 180 days, credited with eight days served in jail, sentenced to an additional two days in jail and required 30 hours community service for drug paraphernalia. Butts had a cut straw with white powder residue, which he admitted to using to snort methamphetamine on Oct. 11.
An Oct. 26 pretrial was set for Jennifer S. Lawrence, 47, Sharp Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly taking $296 from the vehicle of Francis Meissner Jr. while he was inside Fred’s Pharmacy in Salem.
Jacob D. Martin, 26, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $175, credited with three days in jail and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.
Kylie L. Daniel, 23, Washington Street, Salem, was fined $150 and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Toni M. Pelamati, 49, Georgetown Road, Salem, was fined $200 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Eddie Solivan, 35, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession.
Brandon M. McCallister, 20, Whitacre Road, Salem, was fined $150, credited with two days in jail and required 40 hours community service for underage consumption.
Brittany A. Lee, 27, Cortland, was fined $150 and had her license suspended for 180 days for marijuana paraphernalia.
Clinton R. Ferringer, 33, Olde Mill Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for lighted lights amended from speeding.
A Dec. 14 pretrial was set for Rick J. Willis Jr., 27, Spring Street, Salineville, cited with driving under suspension, obstructing official business and a tail lights violation. Willis alleged ran from the traffic stop.
A Dec. 18 pretrial was set for Thomas F. Lairson, 71, Stafford Street, Minerva, cited with OVI first offense and tail lights.
Robert A. Harroff, 29, Lisbon Street, Columbiana, was fined $50 for no license.
Cheyenne Echard, 21, Youngstown, was fined $50 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.
