— Jeffrey A. Gowen Jr., 18, Union Street, Washingtonville, was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a patrolling officer at 7:15 p.m. Thursday observed him and another male walking along the railroad tracks near Walnut Street.
— Daniel W. Haschak, 20, Pearl Street, Leetonia, was charged with criminal trespassing after officers responded to the 600 block of Walnut Street at 11:40 p.m. in reference to three males attempting to assault, but found that he had tried to enter his ex-girlfriend’s home through her bedroom window and the three males had responded to assist in removing him from the property.
— Brandon S. Gust, 19, Shadyside, Ohio, was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing official business and underage consumption after approaching officers during an investigation at 1:42 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to the 300 block of Columbia St. at 5:06 a.m. Tuesday for a report of an alarm drop that was located in the restroom. A search revealed the premises were secure and police were unable to locate anyone in or around the business.
At 5 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 80 block of High Street for a report of a cardiac patient and stood by with the person until an ambulance arrived. The officer responded to another call and returned to the first to lend further assistance in lifting the person for the Columbiana EMS.
