HIGHWAY PATROL
— William R. Kale, 41, Georgetown Road, Beloit, was injured Thursday afternoon when the edge of the road gave way and the farm combine he was driving rolled on its side into a ditch. He was taken to a local hospital. The accident occurred on Rochester Road in West Township.
— Harold J. Copper, 32, of Weirton, W.Va., was cited for failure to yield after he pulled into the path of a vehicle operated by Allan R. Green, 56, of Amsterdam, resulting in an accident. This occurred at the intersection of state Routes 164 and 518 in Gavers at 5:45 p.m. Friday.
— Andrea M. Russo, 56, of New Castle, Pa., was cited for failure to yield after he went off the road into a ditch and taking down a stop sign while driving a semi-trailer on Columbiana-Waterford Road in Fairfield Township at 11:50 a.m. Nov. 10.
— Dusty S. Boley Jr., 36, England Drive, Unity Township, was cited for failure to control after losing control of his pickup truck and rolling it on its roof while driving on Waterford Road in Unity Township at 7:15 a.m. Friday. Neither Boley nor the three children riding with him were injured.
— Winefred E. Young, 34, Knox School Road, Beloit, was cited for failure to control and OVI after driving off the road into a culvert and striking a stop sign on Homeworth Road in Knox Township at 11:10 p.m. Thursday. Young, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to a local hospital after suffering a cut above the eye, cut on the chin and sore legs and ribs.
— Robert E. Diddle, 67, state Route 558, Columbiana, was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign and striking a vehicle driven by Max H. Bellard, 69, of Rochester, Pa., at the intersection of state Route 154 and Riffle Road in Elkrun Township at 5:25 p.m. Nov. 12. Bellard was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
