LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a Jan. 11 pretrial was set for Jermaine Jackson, 46, Garfield Heights, charged with aggravated menacing. Jackson allegedly threatened to harm Daniel Rauch, the acting supervisor at the Columbiana County Jail on Tuesday night. The threat occurred during an incident where inmates were refusing to lock down for the night and deputies were called in to assist.

Michael Cochran, 24, Maple Street, Lisbon, was fined $325 and required 50 hours community service for two counts of driving under suspension, a charge of improper handling of a firearm and a turn signal violation. During a traffic stop by the state Highway Patrol on Thursday, Cochran had an unloaded firearm between the driver’s seat and the center console with a loaded magazine with 13 hollow point rounds between the driver’s seat and the driver’s door.

A Feb. 20 pretrial was set for Daniel L. Matz Jr., 38, Homeworth Road, Homeworth, cited with speeding, a seat belt violation and possession of drug paraphernalia for an alleged glass smoking pipe with residue.

A March 6 pretrial was set for John A. Baumgartner, 26, Votaw Drive, Lisbon, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly threatening to kill the 16-year-old daughter of Camellia Taylor on Dec. 21 after the teen told Baumgartner she did not want him over at their home for Christmas.

A Jan. 25 pretrial was set for Robert E. Echols, 47, East Pershing Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pushing his girlfriend Guillermina R. Garnica against a wall, which caused a hole to form on Thursday.

Brittany L. Landace, 24, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $170 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension and failure to control.

Tyler M. Hayes, 25, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $250 for driving under suspension and a license plate violation.

Misty D. Rexroad, 40, state Route 39, Wellsville, was fined $300 and credited with a day in jail for persistent disorderly conduct and endangering children. Rexroad smacked an 11-year-old she was watching on Dec. 14 and then left him at the home alone.

Caleb D. Kountz, 21, Nicolaus Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $150 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Cheryl Henry, 49, Enon Valley, Pa., was fined $100, credited with a day served in jail and sentenced to an additional three days for obstructing official business. During a traffic stop, Henry gave a fake name for her passenger, Robert Lowe, who had a warrant.

Aaron Post, 25, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was fined $50 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension and a headlights violation.

Brittney N. Howiler, 22, Massillon, was fined $100 and credited with two days in jail for persistent disorderly conduct after she became intoxicated at a family member’s home to the point where she could hardly walk.

A Jan. 16 pretrial was set for Danielle L. Lanzendorfer, 25, Canfield, cited with driving under a 12-point suspension.

A Feb. 20 pretrial was set for Christopher J. Steenge, 39, Washingtonville Road, Salem, cited with leaving the scene and failure to control.

A citation against Sheila Riggs, 70, Monroeville Heights, Salineville, was dismissed because it stated the ticket does not state a traffic charge. The ticket cited Riggs with operating a motor vehicle without pqroof of insurance on Dec. 17. She was ordered to pay costs only for assured clear distance.
