— Cindy Masters, Buck Road, Beloit, reported Sunday that Jerrimie A. Carter, 43, Buck Road, Beloit, is driving by her residence and threatening her. Deputies located Carter at a Georgetown Road residence and took him into custody on an outstanding warrant, transporting him to the county jail. Several people at the residence told deputies that Carter had been there all evening, working on a vehicle.
— Deputies spoke with an Oak Grove Road, Wellsville woman identified in reports only as “Lisa,” who reported an attempt to scam her on a purchase. She said a person tried to pay for an item she was selling using a fraudulent cashier’s check which came in the mail totaling $3,800 to pay for a $500 item. The sender wanted the woman to cash the check and send back the change. Her bank determined the check was fake.
— A resident of state Route 170 in Unity Township reported someone damaged the side mirror on his pickup truck, saying it appeared it was struck with a pipe. The person was not identified in reports other than as “Dennis.”
