SHERIFF’S OFFICE

— Stanton C. Brown, Walnut Street, Rogers, reported at 1:43 p.m. Friday someone damaged several yard ornaments on his front porch and pulled down several Steelers decorations and a “Military Parking” sign for his son, which was attached to the side of his home. His gas grill was kicked over and a concrete goose was knocked off the porch damaging both the neck of the goose and a trash can that was knocked over. A side storm window was damaged and it appeared someone attempted to break in. A door to a storage building was broken open and access was gained by someone leaving shoe prints inside the building. Nothing was missing inside the building. Two Steelers flags, a Steelers wreath and a leprechaun wreath were missing from the front of the home. Brown found a Budweiser can which was not his in his trash can.

— Melinda Sue Schroeder, state Route 170, Middleton Township, reported Saturday someone stole her PlayStation 3 with the controllers and five to seven of the games. The items were stored in her mother and father’s basement a couple weeks ago and she noticed them missing on Saturday.
