LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Jason T. Fitzsimmons, 43, Woodville Road, Leetonia, was fined $900, had his license suspended for two years, sentenced to 15 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and a lane violation.

Jerit C.F. Jackson, 33, Kibler Road, New Waterford, was fined $825, had his license suspended for a year, required 40 hours community service and required to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and driving under suspension.

Eric R. McCleery, 65, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was fined $675, had his license suspended for a year, sentenced to 10 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense.

Jonathan Dickey, 33, Titusville, Fla., was fined $450 for driving under suspension and speeding.

An April 9 pretrial was set for Raymond Raine, 24, South Main Street, Columbiana, cited with domestic violence for allegedly chasing Melanie Matsick, grabbing her by the hair and pushing her down the stairs because she was attempting to dispose of his drug paraphernalia.

An April 5 pretrial was set for Madelyn M. Anderson, 31, North Street, Beloit, charged with three counts of failure to confine dogs and two counts of prohibitions concerning companion animals for allegedly having three Rhodesian ridgeback mixed dogs without adequate shelter, food or water in 10 degree temperatures with a negative six-degree wind chill on Jan. 3. One dog was allegedly on such a short chain where he could not get into his box.

An April 5 pretrial was set for Sydney B. Fryman, 20, Croft Avenue, East Liverpool, cited with telecommunications harassment. Fryman allegedly posted a provocative picture of her former friend with her bra exposed on the friend’s Twitter account on Jan. 27.

Michael P. White, 23, East North Avenue, East Palestine, was sentenced to two days in jail, required 30 hours community service and fined $150 for theft for taking the wallet containing cash, credit cards and other items belonging to Jennifer Duffield, while she was working at the Dollar General on Jan. 8. Video surveillance showed White taking the wallet from where the employee had put it.

Daniel J. Welsh, 50, Youngstown, was fined $275 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and a tail lights violation.

A March 27 pretrial was set for Thomas C. May Jr., 32, state Route 9, Salem, cited with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a metal pipe with residue. May was ordered to pay costs only for a registration violation.

Nicole Strong, 30, Granite Street, Salem, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for wrongful entrustment.

James R. Mastronarde, 37, Stratton Road, Salem, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from assured clear distance.

John R. Ashby, 21, Green Cove Springs, Fla., was fined $150 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of drugs.

Rebecca S. Brown-Denman, 51, Watson Road, Kensington, was fined $150 for lighted lights amended from speeding.

Mohamed Hassan Sherif Yousif, 49, East Molina, Ill., was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from lane violations.

Barbara J. Beverly, 58, Canal Street Hanoverton, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Andrew A. Hepler, 54, Apple Street, Salem, was fined $50 for possession of drug paraphernalia for a straw with white powder residue.

Janelle L. Dolence, 34, West High Street, Lisbon, was fined $50 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension and improper registration.
