SHERIFF’S OFFICE

— Parents of a Hawkins Road, Unity Township, man reported at 10:07 p.m. Thursday their son had flipped out over not finding his phone charger and having bank troubles. He then told his parents they would see him in the obituaries. He began to take all his clothes off, pounding on the windows and threw his bag over the balcony. Finally he began to walk down the street nearly naked in the cold. Deputies found him on the road and after hearing he sometimes feels like harming himself, deputies sent him to a hospital for evaluation.

— At 5:51 p.m. Wednesday, deputies served Jill Gilbert, 41, Y&O Road, East Liverpool, with a warrant for charges of domestic violence and aggravated menacing, along with a protection order against her. She was additionally charged with resisting arrest for her actions when deputies attempted to take her into custody.

— Deputies checked a Gamble Road home after an interior motion alarm activated at 12:17 a.m. Thursday. There was no disturbance of any of the snow around the home, garage or shed. The doors of the buildings were all secure.

— Katherine Tubbs, South Mahoning Avenue, Alliance, reported at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday she got up to use her bathroom and found the kitchen window open to her home. She then heard something fall from the window. She closed the window, checked the back door and woke up her husband, who got his weapon out. They called 911 and stayed in the bedroom. Deputies tracked footprints in the snow to a garage behind the home and found Dejourne Hawkins, 18, South Street, Alliance. Charges were later filed against Hawkins.

— Harold Reese, Mountz Road, Butler Township, reported at 3:44 p.m. Wednesday a vehicle drove off the road and struck his mailbox, crossed his driveway and struck the culvert.

— Deputies were asked at 10:13 a.m. Wednesday to check on Vivian and Ronald Frisbie by Vivian’s brother, Bruce Delcruz, who said it is unusual for his sister not to answer his calls or contact him on a regular basis. Deputies spoke to them and Vivian Frisbie said she must be having problems with her phone. Delcruz was notified everyone was fine and she would attempt to contact him soon.
