LISBON — An Aug. 27 pretrial was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for John K. McGuire, 56, Fairview Place, Beloit, charged with theft for allegedly stealing a money clip from Melvin Bricker’s pocket after he died on June 18. McGuire reportedly had responded as an Emergency Medical Technician to a crash, which killed Bricker. The money clip and $42 was found in McGuire’s back pocket, according to deputies.

Jack Edward Falk, 50, Bye Road, East Palestine, was fined $700, had his license suspended for a year, required 30 hours of community service and ordered to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and failure to control.

Tom M. Smith, 30, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, was fined $705, had his license suspended for a year, required 30 hours community service and ordered to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and left of center.

Desiree L. Ingledue, 23, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $875, had her license suspended for a year, credited with 10 days in jail and sentenced to an additional 80 days in jail for OVI first offense, driving under suspension, left of center and failure to produce a license.

Susan M. Piper, 35, East Pine Lake Road, Petersburg, was fined $350, had her license suspended for 90 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for assured clear distance and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

An Aug. 14 pretrial was set for Christopher R. Stewart, 31, East Liverpool Road, East Liverpool, cited with OVI second offense and speeding.

A July 19 pretrial was set for Danny J. Schultz, 51, Cliff Drive, Salem, cited with OVI second offense, speeding and left of center.

An Aug. 9 pretrial was set for Charles C. Crafter Jr., 46, Youngstown, cited with OVI first offense and left of center.

An Aug. 16 pretrial was set for Duane D. Johnson,52, Alice Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and speeding.

Travis Diekmann, 32, West Main Street, Washingtonville, was fined $500, had his license suspended for 180 days, required 40 hours community service, credited with a day served and sentenced to two additional days in jail for driving under FRA suspension and drug paraphernalia for a bag with a small amount of white substance in it on April 14. A second drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed.

A July 5 sentencing hearing was set for Jeffrey A. Mullins, 28, West State Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business, possession of instruments to ingest or inhale controlled substances, drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Mullins hid in the back of a closet to avoid being arrested by Perry Township police, who had a warrant for him on Friday.

David Gonzalez, 19, Columbia Street, Leetonia, pleaded guilty to furnishing beer or intoxicating liquor to an underage person. While working at Circle K, Gonzalez was cited for selling alcohol to a 17-year-old working as an undercover informant on June 28. Sentencing was set for July 17.

Chase Cook, 18, Crestview Road, New Waterford, was ordered to perform 40 hours community service for unauthorized use of property for having two Acer Netbooks belonging to the Columbiana Shale Program on March 26.

An Aug. 20 pretrial was set for Amanda Lynn Lodge, 23, Waynewood Drive, New Waterford, charged with domestic violence for allegedly placing a knife to another person’s throat and groin leaving a mark on June 23.

Timothy H. Lewis, 63, East Main Street, Salineville, was fined $100, required 20 hours community service, credited with three days served and sentenced to an additional two days in jail for theft. On March 3, Lewis took a Salineville antique plate and bathroom air fresheners from the Tangerine Lounge.

David W. Detwiler, 63, North Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $200, credited with two days served in jail and ordered 40 hours community service for theft for attempting to shoplift about $61 in merchandise from the Salem Walmart on April 10.

An Aug. 21 pretrial was set for Dawnielle M. Brommer, 38, East Liverpool Road, Lisbon, charged with falsification for allegedly telling deputies her live-in boyfriend, Ryan Conner, assaulted her on April 16, when she later admitted to lying.

An Aug. 27 pretrial was set for Steven Charles Windle, 29, England Drive, East Palestine, for a citation of prohibitions against violations of board orders. Windle allegedly failed to clean up a public health nuisance within 30 days after he was ordered to do so on March 22.

Shane M. Endicott, 25, School Street, Washingtonville, was fined $200 for disorderly conduct for standing in front of Dianah Fabry’s vehicle and lying on the hood to try to keep her from going to work on Oct. 30. A telecommunications harassment citation for allegedly sending Fabry a threatening text message on Oct. 27 was dismissed.

Matthew J. Holdon, 41, Youngstown, was fined $280 and required 20 hours community service for speeding and a seat belt violation.

Michael Brown, 26, Adams Avenue, Salem, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.

Tomas Aaron Johnson, 20, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $180 for expired license and two headlights required.

Garrett L. Speelman, 23, Martha Street, East Liverpool, was fined $180 and required 20 hours community service for no motorcycle endorsement and invalid registration.

James D. Solmen Jr., 52, Canfield, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from failure to display a valid sticker.

William A. Keck, 40, Cedar Ridge Drive, Salem, was fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Mark B. Morgan, 65, Bayard Road, Minerva, was fined $100 for a prohibitions against violating health board orders. Morgan was ordered in January to correct a nuisance on his property within 30 days and failed to do so.

Daniel E. Felger, 23, West South Range Road, Salem, was fined $100 for speeding.

An Aug. 23 pretrial was set for David Reeger, 33, East Main Street, Salineville, cited with driving under suspension.
