LISBON — An Aug. 30 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Willie L. Curry, 32, Youngstown, charged with having weapons while under a disability for allegedly having a loaded .380-caliber semi-automatic pistol hidden in his groin area during a traffic stop on Tuesday. Curry pleaded no contest to obstructing official business for running from deputies attempting to conduct a pat down. He was fined $250 and sentenced to 90 days in jail.
An Aug. 30 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Daniel K. Duncan, 39, High Street, Salineville, charged with domestic violence and disruption of public services after he allegedly physically prevented Amanda Kackert from calling police for assistance during an altercation at their home and striking her in the mouth. Duncan was released after posting a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
Justin D. Graham, 35, Chester, W.Va., waived his right to an extradition hearing so he can be returned to West Virginia where he is charged with failure to register as a sex offender, second offense.
An Oct. 18 pretrial was set for Wesley D. Clark, 28, South County Road, Washingtonville, charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing official business after he reportedly argued with Salem Regional Medical Center security in the early hours of Friday, refused to cooperate when they suggested he get a ride home, threw down his belongings, squared around like he was going to fight with officers and then ran until he slid on the pavement.
An Aug. 27 pretrial was set for Taylor L. West, 21, West Salem Street, Columbiana, charged with possession of drug abuse instruments for allegedly having three syringes in the coat pocket on Thursday.
A Sept. 25 pretrial was set for James R. Zeiler, 70, Pancake-Clarkson Road, Rogers, charged with OVI first offense and a turn signal violation.
An Oct. 2 pretrial was set for Joseph M. Sferra, 35, South Avenue, Columbiana, cited with driving under suspension and use of an unauthorized plate.
A Nov. 6 pretrial was set for Jeffrey William Winters, 52, North Howard Avenue, Salem, cited with driving under suspension.
A Nov. 8 pretrial was set for Enrigue Gabriel Santiago, 49, West Washington Street, Lisbon, cited with driving under FRA suspension.
David R. May, 24, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.
Jacob C. Harvey, 29, East Pine Lake Road, Salem, was fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension.
A Nov. 8 pretrial was set for Timothy Gary Christian, 47, Wintersville, cited with driving under FRA suspension and a turn signals violation.
Bailey M. Shaffer, 19, Metz Road, Columbiana, was fined $150 for possession of marijuana.
Zachariah T. Paxson, 22, Schneider Road, Hanoverton, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.
Jeremy R. Andrews, 30, state Route 170, East Palestine, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession.
David J. Brunner, 36, Maximo, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct for using offensive language.
A Nov. 6 pretrial was set for Delaney M. Brown, 25, Pine Street, Leetonia, cited with open container.
Connor J. Grant, 28, Wauwatosa, Wisc., was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
Lonna M. Moraski, 36, South Elm Street, Columbiana, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct.
A driving under a FRA suspension citation was dismissed against Samantha M. Wickersham, 22, Goshen Road, Salem, who reportedly now has a valid license and insurance.
