LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court Kaid D. Todd, 28, Niles, was bound over to the grand jury on a charge of burglary for allegedly trespassing in the Chestnut Street, Leetonia, home of Melissa Todd on Oct. 8 and 9.
Maura N. Paliani, 28, Niles, was also bound over to the grand jury on a burglary charge for allegedly entering the home of Melissa Todd on Chestnut Street, Leetonia, on Oct. 8 and 9. In a separate matter Paliani was fined $50 for disorderly conduct amended from cruelty to animals. An abandoning animals citation was dismissed. Paliani was cited for leaving two dogs without food and water at an East Clark Street, East Palestine, home when she moved out on Nov. 11, 2017.
A Jan. 14 pretrial was set for James B. Lowery, 26, Pittsburgh, Pa., cited with OVI first offense and improper registration.
A Nov. 8 pretrial was set for Mark A. Handley, 60, Bolivar Road, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking his wife in the back twice while she was on the ground and in front of pipeline workers, who confronted him and gave her time to get away.
A Nov. 8 pretrial was set for Carl A. Landsberger, 58, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing a 13-year-old girl by the hair and forced her to the ground, while the teen hit him in the head several times in self-defense on Monday.
Samson A. Crowl, 34, Cherry Street, Salem, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail for possession of a drug abuse instrument for a syringe. The jail sentence is to be consecutive with a 120-day sentence Crowl is serving for non-support of a dependent through Juvenile Court. An obstructing official business citation against Crowl was dismissed.
Sarah B. Himes, 41, West Wilson Street, Salem, was fined $725, had her license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and failure to control.
Ashley D. House, 30, West Pershing Street, Salem, was fined $230 and required 50 hours community service for two counts of driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.
Courtney J. Harshman, 37, West Wilson Street, Salem, was credited with a day served in jail and already has paid $283 in restitution to L and M Greenhouse for a passing bad checks charge.
A Dec. 10 pretrial was set for Christopher James Milson, 37, West Main Street, Washingtonville, cited with physical control prohibited.
A Nov. 27 pretrial was set for Shamar E. Morton, 19, Dover, cited with possession of marijuana.
Andrew M. Spickerman, 31, New Brighton, Pa., was fined $150 and had is license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana.
Aliyah Leyman, 20, North Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
A Jan. 15 pretrial was set for Edgar Roger Hambright, 27, Pittsburgh, Pa., cited with hit skip/leave scene and failure to control.
Izaac Devon-Joseph Chalmers, 20, Carole Drive, Salem, was fined $100 and credited with 28 days served in jail for fictitious plates, no license and failure to control.
Daniel W. Burpo, 45, North Ellsworth Road, Salem, was fined $50 for speeding.
Kenneth R. Williams, 82, Metz Road, Columbiana, was fined $100 for lighted lights required amended from improper passing.
Kristopher L. Harless, 41, New Cumberland, W.Va., was fined $50 for assured clear distance.
Joseph A. Long, 41, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was fined $25 for disorderly conduct.
