Highway Patrol

— Mark Schreffler, 25, Salem, was westbound on state Route 344 in Fairfield Township at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday and went off the right side into a two mailboxes and re-entered the road and went off the left side. He was cited for failure to control.

— Hunter M. Woodring, 16, New Waterford, was northwestbound on Columbiana-Waterford Road in Fairfield Township at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday and went off the south side into a ditch and a utility pole. He was cited for failure to control and taken to the St. Elizabeth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

— Francis M. Welsh, 55, Lisbon, was northbound on state Route 45 in Salem Township at 5 a.m. Wednesday and went off the right side into a ditch and a mailbox then continued north and stopped. Welsh was cited for failure to control.

— Adam M. Hayes, 34, Lisbon, and Chelsea B. Toot, 23, Lisbon, were southbound on state Route 164 in Salem Township at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Hayes attempted to turn left into a private drive and collided with Toot who was attempting to pass. Hayes was taken to the St. Elizabeth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and Toot was also taken there with serious injuries. No citations were issued due to conflicting statements provided and no witnesses.
