MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON — Christopher C. Bowersock, 36, Oak Drive, Wellsville, was bound over to the grand jury on a charge of illegal assembly or possession of a controlled substance after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing in County Municipal Court. On Dec. 1, Bowersock was allegedly in possession of items needed to manufacture methamphetamine while near a daycare facility in Columbiana.

A Dec. 17 pretrial was set for David E. Boggs, 27, Vine Street, Salem, charged with carrying a concealed weapon and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Boggs allegedly had a BB gun with a loaded magazine inside it, an expandable asp baton and three knives in his pockets. He also reportedly had a light bulb manipulated to be used to smoke meth, a marijuana pipe, two cut straws containing white powder and a baggie of pills in his backpack on Saturday.

Rachel A. Stoddard, 43, state Route 267, East Liverpool, was fined $705, had her license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and speeding.

Edward A. Duko II, 31, Beach City, was sentenced to two days in jail, fined $425 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension, failure to stop after an accident and left of center.

A Feb. 11 pretrial was set for Reagan M. Duck, 21, Massillon, cited with driving under suspension, faulty exhaust and no tail lights.

A Feb. 14 pretrial was set for Richard A. Arbuckle, 32, Saltwell Road, Lisbon, charged with theft for allegedly attempting to take a bag of donuts and a Monster drink from Dollar General on Dec. 2.

Jeremy D. Nixon, 37, Akron, was fined $175 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marked lanes, possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Jerry A. Welce, 62, Blueberry Drive, Columbiana, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from aggravated menacing for threatening to shoot Charlie Utsinger at an address on state Route 344, Leetonia, on July 24.

A Feb. 21 pretrial was set for Stacy Emplit, 44, West Pine Lake Road, Salem, cited with failure to return and payment of municipal taxes and failure to file tax return for allegedly failing to file taxes in 2014, 2015 and 2016 in Salem.

A sentencing hearing was set for Jan. 17 for Nicole L. Stull, 32, East Main Street, Salineville, who pleaded no contest to permitting trash on premises.

Robert R. Vecchio, 54, state Route 164, Lisbon, was fined $50 for public intoxication.
