LISBON — A Jan. 28 preliminary hearing and pretrial was scheduled in county Municipal Court for Jeremy H. Johnson, 32, Sunset Drive, Alliance, charged with theft for allegedly taking his father’s 2001 Chevy Blazer without permission on Nov. 21 and cited with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his father, Danny Johnson, on the same day.

A Jan. 28 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Mathew E. Withers, 30, Stoy Street, Leetonia, charged with tampering with evidence for allegedly eating meth to keep it from being discovered during a traffic stop on Friday. Withers was also cited with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a digital scale with white powder residue.

A Jan. 28 preliminary hearing was set for Megan A. Detchon, 29, Waddell Street, Leetonia, charged with tampering with evidence for allegedly hiding meth in her bra and then handing it to her passenger, who is accused of eating it to conceal it from police on Friday. She was also cited with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a digital scale with white powder residue.

A March 18 pretrial was set for Shaun Steven Edwards, 30, Darlington, Pa., charged with OVI, speeding, traffic control devices, open container and drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a marijuana pipe and a can of Natural Light beer inside the vehicle on Thursday.

Dennis D. Hayward, Justison Road, East Palestine, was fined $700, had his license suspended for a year, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to five days in jail for OVI and left of center.

Anthony J. Antonas, 38, Latta Road, East Palestine, was fined $625, had his license suspended for 180 days and credited with nine days in jail for left of center, OVI first offense amended from OVI third offense, open container and obstructing official business for having an open Red’s Wicked Ale and refused to comply with orders by police during the May 6 traffic stop leading to him being tased.

Donald G. Hill, 62, West Ohio avenue, Sebring, was fined $300 for failure to control and reckless operation amended from leaving the scene.

A March 21 pretrial was set for Morley W. Marsden, 23, Woodbine Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with OVI first offense and reckless operation.

A March 4 pretrial was set for Crystal R. Hoskinson, 27, East State Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly going into the bedroom when police were attempting to arrest her on a warrant Saturday and telling police another person with a warrant, Erin Taggart, was not in the bedroom when she was hiding inside.

Jordan M. Spellick, 19, Youngstown, was fined $200 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and faulty exhaust.

A Feb. 26 pretrial was set for Brandon R. Stonestreet, 26, Teegarden Road, Salem, charged with illegal use of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a small bag with a pill in it, a marijuana pipe, four syringes and crack pipe on Nov. 8. A sentencing hearing for a driving under suspension citation has been continued until Feb. 26 as well.

A March 12 pretrial was set for Kristi R. McGarry, 24, Mingo Junction, charged with falsification and obstructing official business for allegedly giving Wellsville police her sister’s information during a traffic stop on Dec. 19.

A March 18 pretrial was set for Michael A. Manypenny, 33, Hilltop Drive, Lisbon, cited with possession of marijuana.

A March 18 pretrial was set for Erin A. Taggart, 24, West Perry Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly hiding in a bedroom closet when police came to serve a warrant for her arrest on Saturday.

A March 12 pretrial was set for Christie L. Schnader, 38, Jennings Avenue, Salem, cited with possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a crack pipe in her purse.

A March 14 pretrial was set for Leona Gerree Reed, 52, Sunset Drive, Wellsville, charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly refusing to calm down and follow police instructions when she was intoxicated on Sunday.

Kathryn S. Burr, 54, Church Street, New Waterford, was fined $250, credited with a day in jail and required 30 hours community service for theft for taking an antique 1930’s classic toy pedal car with sentimental value to Sheila White on Dec. 2.

Paris L. Lotze, was fined $250, required 30 hours community service and credited with four days in jail for theft for shoplifting video games, DVDs, baby clothes and other items from the Salem Walmart on April 11.

Chelsea M. Krol, 20, Garfield Road, Salem, was fined $200 for possession of marijuana and wrongful entrustment.

Brandon Allan Hoschar, 23, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $210 for driving under suspension, speeding and a seat belt violation.

Adam M. Rendziniak, 29, Spillway Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

An open container citation against Rusty Allen Hargreaves, 59, Wood Street, East Palestine, was dismissed. Hargreaves was cited after he allegedly was found to have a bottle of 80-proof Korski Vodka behind his driver’s seat.

Jeffrey J. Palcich, 62, Minerva, was fined $300 for two miscellaneous wildlife violations for failing to immediately tag and check his deer on Nov. 30.

Seth Allen Fraser, 33, Fair Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 for driving under suspension and expired plates.

A March 21 pretrial was set for Adam S. Magnuson, 18, state Route 45, Salem, charged with underage consumption.

A March 18 pretrial was set for Brian D. Miller Jr., 31, Almont Street rear, East Liverpool, cited with failure to reinstate a license and no tail lights.

Curtis L. Sanlo, 22, Teegarden Road, Hanoverton, was fined $75 for a parking violation amended from slow speed.

Matthew John Jerome, 32, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $50 for no license.
