EL man charged with taking drugs into jail
LISBON — Tavares J. Bell, 37, Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool, was served a secret indictment for two counts of illegal conveyance of a drug of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility and three counts of possession of drugs.
On Aug. 31, 2017, Bell allegedly brought cocaine and fentanyl into the county jail. He also reportedly had less than the bulk amount of oxycodone and $135 used or intended for use in a drug-related offense. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in October.
