Leetonia man pleads guilty to possession
LISBON — Jerry L. Taylor, 61, Lisbon Road, Leetonia, pleaded guilty in Common Pleas Court to possession of drugs and tampering with evidence. On Jan. 14, 2017, in the area of Old state Route 344 and Grafton Road, Taylor threw two baggies, with one containing cocaine, into a ditch and then struggled with police while he attempted to empty the baggies. He faces up to four years in prison, a five-year license suspension and a $12,500 fine. Sentencing is set for April 11.
Brian K. French, 29, North Walnut Avenue, Alliance, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for 4.16 grams of methamphetamines he attempted to hid in the backseat of a vehicle when he was the passenger on Aug. 19, 2017. He faces up to three years in prison, a five-year license and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is set for April 11.
Sheridan S. Taylor, 27, formerly of Madison Avenue, Salem, was found in violation of his community control from a tampering with evidence conviction. A dispositional hearing was set for Feb. 15.
Bryan W. White, 53, West Martin Street, East Palestine, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated, a third-degree felony. He faces up to three years in prison, a $10,500 fine, a lifetime operator’s license suspension and forfeiture of the vehicle. Sentencing is set for April 8.
