HIGHWAY PATROL

— Matthew T. Vickroy, 47, Hanoverton, was westbound on Haessly Road in Hanoverton at 10:05 a.m. Monday and Richard G. Prendergast, 57, Hanoverton, was eastbound and went left of center and collided with Vickroy. Prendergast fled eastbound and later became disabled. Prendergast was cited for left of center and distracted driving.

— Kody Brian Weinstock, 24, Lisbon, was southbound on state Route 164 in Fairfield Township at 11:11 a.m. Sunday and was struck by Janet K. Anderson, 77, Carnegie, Pa., who failed to yield from a stop sign westbound on state Route 558. After impact, Anderson also struck Ryan Kenney, 25, East Palestine, who was stopped at a sign eastbound on state Route 558. Anderson was cited for right of way.

— Andrew M. West, 46, Salem, was westbound on U.S. 30 in Madison Township at 5:44 a.m. Saturday and hit a deer.

— Bobby Joe Jones, 51, New Cumberland, W.Va., was turning left from northbound state Route 7 onto Lones Road in Madison Township at 1:20 p.m. Friday and was struck by Marlaina R. Owens, 27, East Liverpool, who was northbound. Owens was cited for assured clear distance.

— Richard Warren Parsons, 30, Leetonia, was northbound on Lisbon Road in Salem Township at 12:05 p.m. Thursday and was struck by James E. Sneddon, 44, Leetonia, who was southbound on Lisbon Road and pulled into Parsons’ path while making a left turn into a private drive. Sneddon was cited for right of way.

— Gregory D. Coleman, 50, New Franklin, was eastbound on U.S. 30 in Hanover Township at 11 a.m. July 2 and a tire blew out and he went off the right side into an embankment.

— Cassi R. Sonntog, 43, East Liverpool, was southbound on state Route 7 in New Waterford at 12:48 p.m. July 1 and had a vehicle malfunction and drove off the right side into a utility pole. No citation was issued and Sonntog was taken to St. Elizabeth hospital with minor injuries.

— Kimberly Danielle Washington, 54, East Liverpool, and Danielle Weaver, 36, Bloomingdale, Ohio, were stopped northbound on state Route 45 in Center Township at noon June 27 and Weaver moved forward and struck Washington. Weaver was cited for improper starting.

— Stephen Jarrod Pickett, 34, Greensboro, N.C., was westbound on U.S. 62 in Knox Township at 9:34 a.m. June 27 and in the passing lane and Leonard P. Mapes, 76, Alliance, was westbound in the center turn lane and they came in contact.

— Ellis Payne, 27, Austintown, was northbound on Lower Elkton Road in Fairfield Township at 5:12 p.m. June 24 and a tractor trailer owned by R&L Transfer of Indiana, was southbound and went left of center and Payne swerved to avoid the tractor trailer and went off the right side into a ditch. The tractor trailer continued on.

— Daniel Cavanaugh, 54, Richmond, Ohio, was northbound on Wayne Bridge Road in Center Township at 1:52 p.m. June 23 and stopped at the U.S. 30 intersection and lost his balance on his motorcycle and it fell over on it. He was taken to St. Elizabeth hospital with minor injuries.
