— Police assisted the county sheriff’s office at 1:06 a.m. Friday with the arrest of Devin Baker, 34, on an outstanding warrant on McClure Road. Baker was taken into custody without incident.
— Police assisted the county sheriff’s office at 12:40 p.m. Friday with the arrest of a woman, name not listed in the report, on an outstanding warrant on West Clark Street. She was taken into custody without incident.
— Police were called to an East Taggart Street business at 11:50 a.m. Friday to stand by while some property was collected. The man collected his business equipment and there were no problems.
— A man, address not listed, reported at 11:36 a.m. Friday an ex-girlfriend without his consent removed his Samsung Galaxy X9 from his Verizon account and that the device was not paid for when it was removed from the account and transferred to a new account leaving him responsible for the outstanding balance on the phone.
— Police responded to East Taggart Street near the state line at 5:28 a.m. Friday upon the request of the highway patrol for the removal of a deer from the road.
— Police responded to East Taggart Street at 7:38 p.m. Thursday for a report that a man had fallen outside. The man was assisted up and into his apartment.
— A woman reported at 12:59 p.m. Thursday a cooler was taken that had been sitting in the grass on Park Drive.
— Police confiscated several cans of beer from a man after they were found in the park at 12:55 p.m. Thursday.
— Police noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in the high grassy area on Kemple Drive near West Main Street at 11 p.m. Wednesday. Police attempted to contact the registered owner by phone but were not successful. Police were able to make contact with the owner at their home and was told by the owner’s mother that the owner would pick up the vehicle in the morning.
— A West Clark Street man reported at 6:46 p.m. Wednesday his son took his father-in-law’s vehicle without permission.
— A man reported at 9:53 a.m. July 1 he was assaulted by four men while at a home on Garfield Avenue. The matter is under investigation.
— An East Taggart Street resident reported at 8:54 a.m. July 1 a child that appeared to be about two years old was outside alone on the porch for about an hour. Police went to the home and found the child still outside and alone. The front door was found to be open and the child’s father was inside asleep on the couch. The report was forwarded to children’s services.
