Clem D. “Pete” Guy

LEETONIA – Clem D. “Pete” Guy, 69, of Leetonia, died Monday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Boardman campus.

Born Jan. 25, 1944, in Youngstown, he was the son of the late Roy E. and Marguerite E. (Hull) Guy.

Mr. Guy served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. He had also served in the Army Reserves spending time overseas in Germany, Korea and Okinawa. He had been a truck driver and later worked in the warehouse for the R. L. Lipton Budweiser Company for 38 years, retiring in January 2004.

Survivors include his wife, the former Elaine Brown Rowe, whom he married July 15, 1989; a daughter, Michele Cresanto (fiance Geoff Cox) of Boardman; a son, John S. Guy of Poland; a stepson, James (Melinda) Rowe of Greenville, Pa.; a brother, James E. Guy of Poland; a sister, Debbie D. Kamer of Youngstown; two cousins he was raised with, Leonard Zurko of Poland and Thomas Zurko of Youngstown; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 65 N. Broad St., Canfield Chapel.
