Samuel B. Magee
COLUMBIANA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Jude Catholic Church for Samuel B. Magee, 77, of Columbiana, who died Monday morning at Salem Community Hospital. The Rev. Father Thomas Ziegler will officiate.
Born Sept. 15, 1935, in Toledo, he was the son of Samuel J. and Martha Ann (Byard) Magee.
Mr. Magee retired as a plant manager from Hubbell Bell of Fogelsville, Pa. He previously worked for Ohio Brass in Mansfield as a plant manager. From 1957 to 1963, he served in the Army, stationed at Fort Knox and Fort Atterbury. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary (Bender) Magee; a daughter, Kim (Darrell) Bevelhymer of Lisbon; two sons, Lt. Col. David (Joanne) Magee of Fayetteville, N.C., and John (Susana) Magee of Middleburg, Va.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Sue (Jeff) Wagner.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 9:45 a.m. Friday at the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana.
