SALEM – Thomas Black, 57, died Monday after a long battle with cancer.
Born Feb. 20, 1956, in Cleveland, he was the son of Earl Black and Gladys Riley Black.
Mr. Black was carpenter and home builder in the area.
In addition to his mother, he leaves two daughters, Vanessa Lampa of Solon and Erin Black of Salem; two sons, Karsen Callahan and Karlisle Callahan, both of Florida; two brothers, Timothy of Parma and Mark of Tennessee; three sisters, Priscilla Douglas of Cleveland, Miriam Acker of Mentor and Lois Krause of Cleveland; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father, and his wife, Karen Black.
A memorial service will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bethany Assembly of God in Cleveland.
Arrangements were handled by Wellington Funeral Home in Warren.
