Paul B. Risbeck
SALEM – Paul B. Risbeck, 95, died peacefully with his family at his side, at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at his home.
Before moving to Salem, he resided on Winona Road, Winona, Ohio.
He was born Sept. 12, 1917, in Lisbon Ohio, the son of the late Samuel “Ben” and Grace (Putney) Risbeck.
Paul was employed at E.W. Bliss as a sheet and metal worker for 33 years, retiring in 1981. He was a lifetime resident of this area and attended the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church in Salem. Paul was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Olive (Driver) Risbeck whom he married Oct. 17, 1957; a son, Daniel B. Risbeck and wife Beth of Salem: a daughter, Virginia M. Keener and husband William of Salem: two grandsons, Paul Jacob Risbeck and Justin Risbeck; three granddaughters, Tina Hill, Pamela Pitts and Rebecca Burton; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde A., John W., and Robert A. Risbeck.
A private funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday April 27, 2013, at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Graybill and the Rev. Robert Vermillyea officiating. Interment will be in Damascus Cemetery with military honors by the Salem Honor Guard.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at the funeral home.
