Alivia Marie ‘Buddha’ Leverknight

COLUMBIANA – Alivia Marie “Buddha” Leverknight, 3, of Columbiana went home to be with her Lord at 2:27 a.m. Sunday at the Akron Children’s Hospital, Mahoning Valley-Begley Campus, Boardman.

Alivia was born March 19, 2010 in Akron, a daughter of Daniel and Patricia Wong Leverknight.

She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana.

Alivia loved dinosaurs, Powers Rangers, Pocahontas and her dogs. She was always strong, brave and pleasant dealing with the many procedures and challenges she faced.

Alivia is survived by her parents, Patricia and Daniel Leverknight, her sisters, Sonja and Vanessa Leverknight, her brother, Daniel Leverknight II, all of Columbiana; maternal grandparents, Carrie and Henry Wong of Guildford Lake; paternal grandfather, Paul Leverknight of Columbiana; her aunt Tina Leverknight of Washingtonville and aunt Carrie (Andy) Culp of Sebring, her uncle Chuck (Tracy) Leverknight of Wakeman, and uncles Timothy Leverknight of Leetonia, Karl (Dawn) Leverknight of Amherst, Tony (Irene) Kruppa, Winchester, VA and Jerry (Terri) Phillips of Rogers; Grammie Ruthie Roose and Aunt Tiffanie Roose of Columbiana; and 14 cousins.

Alivia was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sonja A. Leverknight.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Jude Catholic Church with the Rev. Gabriel Yablonsky and Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Alivia’s name may be made to Akron Children’s Hospital.
