Carolyn F. VanPelt
KIDRON – Carolyn F. VanPelt, 80, of Kidron, died Wednesday afternoon at her home following a long illness.
Born Jan. 19, 1933, in Dalton, she was the daughter of Reuben and Minnie (Martin) Horst.
Mrs. VanPelt was a member of the United Dayspring Mennonite Church in Berlin.
Survivors include her husband, former Salem resident Roy D. VanPelt of Kidron, whom she married on Oct. 14, 1956; three children, Barbara VanPelt of Kidron, Steven (Joy) VanPelt of Lancaster, Pa., and Kathy (Jim) Mullet of Millersburg; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Elda Lautzenheiser, Viola Eberly and Marian (Homer) Eberly.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at United Dayspring Mennonite Church in Berlin, (GPS address: 5641 Twp. Road 362, Millersburg, OH 44654) with John Yoder and Myron Miller officiating. Burial will take place at the Berlin Township Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
