Beryl C. Lindsay
COLUMBIANA – Beryl C. Lindsay, 93, of North Cross Street, died 2:20 a.m. Friday at Hospice House of Poland.
Born March 27, 1920, in New Matamoras, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Blaine (Athey) Dye and had lived in the Columbiana area since 1938. She had been employed as a cook at the Columbiana schools for over 20 years, retiring in 1985.
Her husband, Samuel R. Lindsay, whom she married July 25, 1942, preceded her in death on July 9, 2012.
She leaves three daughters, Susan (Lonnie) Baun of Columbiana, Carol James of Cary, N.C., and Becky (Dennis) Simpson of Leetonia; seven grandchildren, and eight great- grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Columbiana Cemetery.
