Virginia G. (Beatty) (fka Reynolds) Freed
LISBON – Virginia G. (Beatty) (fka Reynolds) Freed, 70, of Lisbon, died at 1:57 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospital – Boardman Campus.
She was born on Jan. 28, 1943 in Moorehead City, N.C., the daughter of the late Richard N. and Sylvia G. (Styron) Beatty Sr.
She was a private duty care giver and also was a former member of the Park Vista Home in Youngstown. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Chapel.
She is preceded in death by her second husband, Fred Freed.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie O. (Reynolds) Johns and Martha Jean (Reynolds) Rolloff, both of Lisbon; a stepdaughter, Melinda Freed of Hubbard; her siblings, Nancy House of Lisbon, Betty Beatty of Kathleen, Ga., Debra Mohr and Linda Beatty, both of Salem, and Tina Oates of Columbus; and two grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and second husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Timothy Reynolds in 1968, and a grandson, Richard H. Rolloff III who died in 1985.
Services will be held at noon Saturday at the Faith Fellowship Chapel with Pastor Larry Paxson officiating of the church. The family will receive friends from 11 to noon at the church.
