Robert F. Baker
East Palestine Robert F. Baker, 80, of 671 Jackson Street, died at 10:03 p.m. Saturday at the Allegheny General Hospital of complications following surgery.
Mr. Baker was born Dec. 12, 1932 in Negley, a son of the late William and Zona Guy Baker and had lived in this area all of his life.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had been employed as a produce manager for A&P Tea Company for several years. He was a member of the First Church of Christ, East Palestine.
He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia A. Mackall, whom he married Feb. 22, 1954; a daughter, Denise A. Baker of New Waterford; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine with Mr. Robert Helbeck, minister officiating.
Burial will follow in East Carmel Cemetery, Rogers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
