LISBON-Stephen W. Tullis, 58, of East Pershing Street, died at 1:50 a.m. Saturday at the Vibra Hospital in Boardman following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Tullis was born Aug. 19, 1955, in Salem, a son of the late Harvey S. Tullis Sr. and the late Lucille M. (Yarwood) Tullis, and had lived all of his life in the area.
After attending Lisbon David Anderson High School, Steve worked as a mechanic for C&W Mining, Bo-Bo Amusement Rides and at the Lisbon Aluminum and Brass Foundry.
He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Hancock of Alliance; sister, Wanda (Perry) Surmaceviz Sr. of Lisbon; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home. Private burial will take place Wednesday morning at Lisbon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
