Lonnie D. Baun

COLUMBIANA – Lonnie D. Baun, 68, of North Cross Street passed away at 4:34 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Baun was born Oct. 20, 1944 in Negley, a son of David and the late Irma Ulbrich Baun, and had resided in the Columbiana area for the past 15 years, returning to this area from Virginia. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed with Edge Seal Technology, Austintown, for 10 years.

He was a member of the Victory Christian Center, Columbiana.

In addition to his father of Petersburg, he is survived by his wife, the former Susan Lindsay, whom he married March 6, 1964; two sons, Scot Baun of Danville, Pa., and Sean Baun of Baltimore, Md.; and two daughters, Lani Terry of Stafford, Va., and Lara Bosworth of Kingsland, Ga. He also leaves 11 grandchildren, and two sisters, Margie Schultz of Petersburg and Dorothy Dobson of Akron.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Victory Christian Center, Columbiana, with his pastor, Randy Morroco. Arrangements were with the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine.
