HANOVERTON – Lucille Wright, 91, of Hanoverton passed away Sept. 3, 2013 at Carroll Health Care Center in Carrollton, Ohio.
She was born Sept. 25, 1921 in Dorton, Ky., to Wilbur and Rosie (Mullins) Estep. She lived in this area since 1957.
She did housekeeping and worked in a restaurant. Lucille’s greatest joys were making quilts, sewing and baking.
Lucille was a member of the First Christian Church of Hanoverton, Ohio.
Lucille married Oscar Wright on June 14, 1939; he died Oct. 20, 1989.
Surviving Lucille are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Jeannie) Lewis of Hanoverton, and a son, Tim (Joan) Wright of Minerva; three brothers, Bill Estep, Jerry Estep and Harvey Estep, all of Kentucky; a sister, Beulah Estep of Michigan; two grandchildren, Brad Wright and Kelly (Scott) Davis; and two great grandchildren, Rachael (Sean) Carmine and Jake Davis.
Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents were two brothers, Arvil Estep and Tray Estep, and two sisters, Esther Estep and Liz Stiltner.
A memorial service is planned at a later date with burial in Grove Hill Cemetery.
