COLUMBIANA Leroy Hostetter, 76, of Columbiana, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Whispering Pines surrounded by his family following an extended illness. He had been at Whispering Pines since May 2012.
Leroy was born on July 12, 1937, in Salem, the son of Ray and Mary (Hively) Hostetter.
He was a graduate of Goshen Union High School. Leroy was a member of Grace Church.
On April 12, 1958, he married the former Sandra Crouse. They celebrated their 55th anniversary this past April.
He was employed as a sales representative for Borden’s Milk Co. for 12 years, and later for Kraft Inc. for 26 years.
Leroy’s memory is cherished by his wife Sandy; his two daughters Linda (Ray) Dickerson and Lisa (James) Eaton, all of Brighton, Mich.; his son, Ken (Kathy) Hostetter of Clemmons, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Mackenzie and Maggie Hostetter and Emily and Ryan Eaton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Glennell Fast; and a brother, Paul Hostetter.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Grace Church of Columbiana, 140 S. Main St., Columbiana, with the Rev. Dr. Ray Banner and the Rev. Dr. Rob Joy officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013.
