Beverly M. Armbruster

SALEM – Beverly M. Armbruster, 84, of Salem, formerly of Alliance, died Saturday, Dec. 14.

Beverly was born Oct. 28. 1929, in Canton, the daughter of Walter F. and Virginia A. Collins.

Mrs. Armbruster graduated from Louisville High School. Upon graduating she was a career secretary, until retiring from Robertson Heating Supply in Alliance. Beverly lived in the Alliance area until 1990 where she served as a Girl Scout leader, PTA member, school librarian, room mother, band mother and with the Boy Scouts.

After retiring she and her husband moved to Salem and worked at Chapparal Family Campground for 20 years.

Beverly enjoyed traveling, horseback riding and camping. She traveled to Ireland, Mexico and Hawaii as well as the 48 continental states.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 63 years, William; children, Tim (Robin) Armbruster of Salem, Larry (Jennie) Armbruster of Homeworth, Virginia Locke of Carrollton; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
