BELOIT – Ernest Grossniklaus, 61, of Beloit, died on Friday at Aultman Hospital.
Born Oct. 26, 1952, in Hamilton, he was the son of the the late Chet Grossniklaus and Anna Mae(Zumbrunnen) Weaver.
Mr. Grossniklaus was employed at D Con products of Alliance for 23 years. He was an enrolled agent and owned and operated the Tax Stop of Beloit.
Survivors include his mother, Anna Mae Weaver of Alliance; a daughter, Leigh Ann (Terrence) Brown; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chet Grossniklaus; and stepfather, Thomas Weaver.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring with the Rev. Peter Matthewson officiating.
A Lions service begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by time of greeting at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, support his granddaughters’ Jordan and Faith’s Pilot Dog project for Jordan’s honors English class. Contributions may be made out to Pilot Dogs and mailed to his granddaughter, Jordan Brown, at 2913 Knox School Road, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
Entombment will take place in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
