Janet A. French
SEBRING – Janet A. French, 82, of Sebring died Tuesday.
She was born Jan. 10, 1931 in Sebring, a daughter of Glenn and Agnes Pettit.
She is survived by sisters are Glenna Emery and Jane Rummel of Alliance.
She married Charles O. French on Aug. 10, 1950. Janet and Charles have three children, Bonnie C. (Ralph) Mitschele of Livingston, N.J., Rev. Barry C. (Sharon) French of Akron, Ohio, and Bruce C. (Susan) French of Columbus and a South African son, Peter (Linda) Jardine. She is also survived by sisters Glenna Emery and Jane Rummel of Alliance and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
An infant child, 3 days old, preceded her.
Mrs, French owned her own business, French’s Lady Apparel in Beloit, for years. She also worked 17 years in the Trust Dept. for Bank One in Alliance and later in Akron.
She was a member of The Sebring Church of Christ during her youth. The past sixty years she has been an active member of The Sebring Church of the Nazarene.
Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at The Sebring Church of the Nazarene with a funeral service to follow at the church at noon.
