Paul Henry Leasure

SALEM – Paul Henry Leasure, 87, of Salem, died at 5:10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Essex I of Salem.

He was born Aug. 8, 1926, in Toronto, Ohio, the son of the late Levi H. and Lona (Channels) Leasure.

Mr. Leasure retired as construction supervisor for the Ohio Edison Company where he had been employed for 35 years. He was a member of the Salem Lions Club, Salem Elks Lodge # 305 and the Vermillion Masonic Lodge. He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II.

His wife, Betty (Roth) Leasure, preceded him death on May 5, 2004.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Frank Leasure; and sister, Gloria Petty.

Survivors include a son, Thomas (Jennifer) Leasure of Eldersburg, Md.; two grandsons, Derek and Clayton Leasure; two granddaughters, Caitlin Dalrymple and Olivia Dalrymple; and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Sophia.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with Rev. Douglas George officiating. Burial will take place in Hyland Creek Cemetery in Knoxville, Ohio.
