Terry R. Michalak

truthers – Terry R. Michalak, 50, of Struthers, formerly of East Palestine, died at 11 p.m. Thursday at the Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Salem, where he had been a patient for the past 10 days.

Mr. Michalak was born Feb. 21, 1963 in Salem, a son of the late Robert and Darla Kinciski Michalak, and had resided in the East Palestine area until moving to Struthers a year ago. Prior to becoming ill, he had been employed as a driver with Hay’s Orchard, Columbiana. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lisa M. Wynn; two daughters, Jami Grace, Struthers, and Jackie Michalak, Ft. Myers, Fla. and three grandchildren. Mr. Michalak also leaves a brother, Tim Michalak, and two sisters, Gabrielle Valez, Texas, and Ronnee Mangie, Henderson NV.

The family will receive friends at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. A funeral service will not be observed. www.oliver-linsley.
