Alma Rebecca (Fowler) Richardson
SALEM – Alma Rebecca (Fowler) Richardson, 86, of Salem, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Vibra Speciality Hospital in Boardman.
Born July 1, 1927, in West Brownsville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Ellen Elizabeth (Gue) Fowler.
Mrs. Richardson was a former dental assistant at Dr. Maxim’s office for 21 years. She was a member of the Salem Bible Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet F. (Samuel) Campbell of St. Louis, Mo., siblings, Ruth Fuller of Albany, N.Y., Leah (Frank) Durst of McClellandtown, Pa., and June (Leo) Quarzo of West Brownsville, Pa., two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on Jan. 7, 2013, by her husband, Robert F. Richardson, whom she married on March 24, 1951.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.
Pastor Henry Miller will officiate the services with burial to follow at Hope Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the funeral home.
The family has requested that donations be made to the Salem Bible Methodist Church, 642 North Ellsworth Ave.
