SALEM – Annabell Stallsmith, 95, of Salem, died Wednesday at the Masternick Memorial Health Care Center in New Middletown.
She was born Dec. 3, 1918, in Coal Hollow, Pa., daughter of the late Robert and Rebecca Pearl (King) Wilde.
Mrs. Stallsmith was a cafeteria cook at the Goshen Center School for 32 years. She was a member of the East Goshen Friends Church.
Her husband, Paul R. Stallsmith, whom she married June 11, 1935, preceded her in death on March 10, 1994. A son, Eugene P. Stallsmith, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Myron L. (Nancy) Stallsmith of New Middletown and Robert J. (Joyce) Stallsmith of Michigan City, Ind.; a sister, Edith Rogowsky of Salem; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Baker officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. Cremation and burial will be at a later date at Hope Cemetery.
