Kenneth Gene Rudibaugh
LISBON – Kenneth “Kenny” Gene Rudibaugh, 61, of Hoffee Road, died at 8 a.m. Sunday at his home following a brief illness.
Born July 25, 1952, in Salem, he was the son of the late Frank E. and Marian Elizabeth (Millhorn) Rudibaugh Sr.
Mr. Rudibaugh worked for 31 years at Columbiana Boiler Company. Upon retiring, he began his dream job as a cook at Das Dutch Haus in Columbiana.
He was a 35-year member of the Guilford Lake Volunteer Fire Department, served in the Navy, and was an active member of the Winona United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Connie S. (Reese) Rudibaugh, whom he married March 15, 1975; a son, Cory (Becky) Rudibaugh of Salem; a daughter, Kristy (James) Erb of East Rochester; a brother, Frank E. (Evelyn) Rudibaugh Jr. of Lisbon; and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Winona United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mary Owen of the church officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Woodsdale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the church.
